Publisher's summary

A new comedy from the USA Today best-selling duo!

Macguire

A good cop can always spot trouble. That’s why my senses started pinging the moment I met the hottie next door. The neighborhood may never be the same.

First, she confuses me for a male stripper and tries to remove my uniform. (The guys on the force will never let me live that down.)

And then there’s the breaking and entering. I don’t know what to do with her. My libido has a few ideas of its own, though.

Bad, bad ideas.

Meg

Hey, it’s not my fault that Hot Cop’s nightstick gets excited every time we see each other. And I can’t help that someone broke into his apartment.

Fine - that last thing was totally my fault. And I intend to make amends. So when he needs a date for his sister’s wedding, I’m there. This is right up my alley. I’m an actor. By the time it’s over, his entire family will believe we’re a couple.

Even him.

Warning: may cause unrestrained giggling in public. Contains: a bridezilla with a turkey leg, a flash mob, and a growly hero.

Delightful!

I’ve really enjoyed the series, with #1 being in my top all time favs. This was a close second! I’m not a huge fan of either author alone, but there’s some hilarious magic with this series of them writing together. I hope we’ll get to hear the story of Megs two friends as well. (Totally shipping Cassidy and lance BTW)

Man Cuffed is freaking amazing!

I love everything about this audiobook. Both narrators did an amazing job as Mac and Meg, and the book is beyond amazing so it’s a pleasure to listen to the story. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves great audiobooks. And if this is the first one in the series you’re listening to, don’t skip the credits. They’re legit hysterical.

Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby are back! I’ve been waiting for this book for over a year now, and I couldn’t be happier than I am right now. They both have a knack for comedy and are really talented storytellers, and it shows not only in Man Cuffed, but also in the other three books they’ve written together.

Man Cuffed is the latest addition to the Man Hands series—the fourth book to be precise—but it is a complete standalone and can be read, and thoroughly enjoyed, without having to read any of the others first. Having said that, I would certainly recommend everyone to read Man Hands, Man Card, and Boy Toy because they’re all hilarious and truly wonderful.

Man Cuffed is the perfect combination of laugh-out-loud outrageous fun, sweetness, and steam. It’s my definition of a great romantic comedy. It’s hilarious! Not only are some of the situations extremely funny, you’ll find yourself enjoying the writing as well. It’s witty and filled with double entendres and exceptional one-liners. Also, both main characters are well developed and show growth throughout the story, and the supporting cast will charm you and leave you wanting for more stories to follow. I really hope they keep them coming.

Man Cuffed is the story of Mac Maguire and Meg Matthews. They both have had bad experiences with love in the past, but while Mac is determined to stay unattached and keep things casual, Meg is willing to put herself out there to find someone to share her life with. They end up being neighbors, and although they apparently want different things, they have amazing chemistry and are strongly attracted to each other. Once they get to know each other more, and start hanging out, lines blur and feelings get in the way, making things a lot more complicated.

This is a story of opposites attract mixed with friends to lovers, and a fake relationship thrown in. It’s laugh-out-loud funny at times, a little over the top, steamy and sweet. It also has a certain not-so-hidden depth to it— there are some underlying issues that are not usually addressed in romantic comedies that make it more complex that one originally expects.

I loved Man Cuffed from start to finish, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to laugh a lot, and enjoys well written stories with a compelling plot and lovable characters. Man Cuffed is seriously outstanding.

Another great book by this duo

Meg and Mack "meet" for the first time when she thinks he's a stripper in a police uniform. Surprise! He's not a stripper. They meet again when she moves into a new apartment and he happens to be his new neighbor.

He doesn't do relationships... he's been burned before. She wants him in a bad way.

He needs a fake girlfriend for his sister's wedding. She's happy to play the part.

Of course his past comes back to bite him in the butt and he can't get out of his own way. But don't worry! There's a HEA here.

Man Cuffed was everything you'd expect from this duo. It was witty, funny, charming, and the characters were well developed and likable. The secondary characters were interesting (especially Lance) and added to the story without being intrusive to Meg and Mack.

Robin and Tor are magical together. Worth a credit; worth a listen. I am going to take a nap now ... and listen again. :)

No idea why I'm crying but I loved every moment! Funny, dove into real topics without being a drag, saucy, perfect if only there were more.

Hilarious! Loved it.

Sooo funny!

Sarina and Tanya are so good together. I may have made a scene laughing at the gym. :)

Robin Eller, a new-to-me narrator, was great. She told Meg's story so well. Great comedic timing. Tor Thom... is, well, Tor Thom. That voice should come with a permanent NSFW warning. I was pleasantly surprised at how he handled the comedy.

Wonderful audiobook. Worth the credit.

So good!

This book has one of the most hilarious first meetings that I've ever read!! This duo does funny like no other but also sprinkle in the angst to keep it from being too sugary sweet.

Funny

This was a well written, steamy, fast paced story with characters you cannot help but fall for, hook, line and sinker.

From the moment they first meet you just know that you are in for a fabulous roller coaster of a read. I loved Meg and Mac both separately and together, they are perfect for each other.

This book was full of laugh out loud hysterical moments which had me in tears from laughing so much. It is not all fun though, there are some tense and serious moments dealing with family issues which was difficult, particularly since Mac’s relationship with his brother is almost non existent; I wanted them to sort themselves out.

There were times when I worried that they wouldn’t get their happily ever after. I really love Meg, she is feisty, sassy and determined. Mac was at times frustrating but he got there in the end.

The secondary characters, particularly Cassidy and Lance, are highly entertaining. The chemistry between Meg and Mac is intense and you could feel the sparks between them.

Such was the seamless writing from Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby I have no idea where one author finished and the other took over. The flow of the story was fantastic and Man Cuffed ticked all the boxes for me.

The narration was good and added to my enjoyment of this story

Hilarious Aural Romp!

Sarina and Tanya have written a hilarious book! I laughed so hard in the first chapter that I spit out my morning coffee.

I really liked Robin as Meg. Beautiful voice; nice performance.

I am a huge Tor fan (blushing). I love his deep baritone voice. Perfect listen to my afternoon mint julip. ;)
