Extremely enjoyable listen and highly motivational

Excellent narration from a down-to-earth content creator. I've been following Bob's YouTube series and I'm glad I snagged this audiobook. I enjoyed hearing about his background and what it took to make YouTube content full time. It's motivational no matter what your interests are. Highly recommend!

A very inspirational book about following your dream and not hesitating to make the leap from a "safe" job to the "unknown".

Great little book

Listened to this start-to-finish in one car trip. As someone who writes for a living and is a woodworker as a hobbyist, I think this book is a great accomplishment.

Given the length of the book, this isn’t a comprehensive guide on becoming a full-time maker or content creator, nor does it purport to be. It has a good balance of helpful information for makers and personal backstory of the author. Well done!

Short but great!

This isn't a step by step, how you make a YouTube channel book. This is a how you make time to do what you want to do kind of book. And what I mean is Bob tells you what he had to do to overcome fears, distractions, and disorganization to make his channel/brand. The book is shorter than some podcasts I listen to, but I will definitely be re-listening to it soon. Chapter 15 really hit home with me.

A great insight into the business of making

Bob talks about his background and those early steps towards becoming a full time maker. But it is the insight into the business of making which is both surprising and fascinating. Even if you have no interest in starting a YouTube channel, there are some lessons in how to value your time and collaborate with others that anyone can put to use. this is a relatively short audio book which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your point of view. For me I was left wanting more but on the whole was left mostly satisfied. cheers Bob.
