what a fun set of plays

these are fun plays and worth listening to the actors are great and so is the story

A Dreadful Performance

Almost unlistenable. Some good Maigrets have here been disastrously adapted for amateurish radio theater.The histrionic acting and phony upper-crust British accents make the dialogue difficult to understand and, incredible for Simenon, boring . Much better to buy the Maigret audiobooks narrated by Gareth Armstrong. Those are gems.
