One of my New Favorites!

OMG, this has become hands down one of my all time favorites!!! The story is great, and the banter between Magnum and everybody is fantastic!!!! Some are absolutely hysterical! Totally fell for this awesome man!!! Cait is a lucky girl!!! Ava Lucas did her normal terrific job narrating. But Sean Crisden was magnificent, he gets 5 stars! Totally loved this book!!!!!❤❤❤❤

This is the story of a MC princess, Caitlyn and the man who watched her grow up from a gangling teenager into a beautiful woman. Magnum is the enforcer of an allied MC. He is 16 years older than Caitlyn and despite his attraction to her, knows that she is off limits. Caitlyn finds that she needs help and is unwilling to involve her fathers MC. She goes to Magnum and the sparks fly as he seeks retribution for what was done to her. This story is different in that it is an interracial story, age gap and very real obstacles are addressed to their union. I really enjoyed the performance of Sean Christen who managed to voice the characters beautifully. Ava Lucas is always a favorite and brought Caitllyn's character to life. I highly recommend this story if you are looking for a different perspective from a different perspective.

Hot

Steamy book. I havent listened to a MC romance in awhile. I forgot how possessive the males can be in these types of books. Kudos to both narrators great job at bringing the characters alive.

This one is the best yet!

Story perfect! Narration perfect! I couldn’t ask for anything more except more from this author.

Gritty

Magnum is the Sergeant at Arms for the Dark Knights MC and he knows that the last thing he should even think about is helping Caitlin, the daughter of Dirty Angels MC rival biker Dawg and even more so becoming involved with her, particularly since she is 16 years younger than him. The clubs have a peaceful relationship at the moment and this could send them to war.
Even knowing this, the attraction between them is impossible to ignore. The performance by Ava Lucas and Sean Crisden is outstanding and they most certainly did justice to the story. I loved how protective Magnum was of Caitie and I loved how feisty Caitie was and how determined she was to stand on her own.
Although this is not my favourite from Jeanne St James, I was invested in the story which was gripping and at times emotional. The chemistry and passion between them is intense and the banter between them witty as they navigate the push and pull of their relationship .
They’ll need to be a united front if they have any chance at convincing their two clubs to accept their relationship.

Loved it

I loved Magnum and Cait’s story. They were great together and plot and storyline kept you pulled in from the beginning. I loved how Sean Crisden and Ava Lucas brought these characters to life.

Love this story!

I work on Saturdays, and when I saw this release, I knew it was the perfect diversion to make my day go by fast! Jeanne St James once again has a winning story on her hand. A little different than her usual biker stories, as this one crosses over clubs, giving it an extra edge of danger. Caitie is in trouble. The daughter of Dawg, member of the DAMC, she won't turn to him with this problem, but she does turn to his friend, Magnum. The problem is, he is a member of DKMC, and this can cause dissension between the clubs. Once he hears the issue though, his feelings for her become front and center and he will do what it takes to keep her safe. There are so many things that can go wrong with this one. Listening to see what could happen in this story had me glued to my headphones! Magnum and Caitie are perfectly suited. But with an age difference, skin color difference and club affiliations, it could have all gone wild. Fantastic characters, thrilling suspense and a love story to boot. I couldn't go wrong! This crossover story is amazing.

Sean Crisden and Ava Lucas are our story tellers and their performance is brilliant. Crisden immerses himself into the character of Magnum. He is protective and loving, and definitely can show a temper! As Caitie, Lucas brings out not only the fear in this woman, but a strength that comes through her voice. These two know their characters and bring out all the qualities to make them alive. Another fantastic pairing for a fantastic book.
