I have enjoyed this series as the characters grow & change as the series progresses. Not just the same thing in each book.

Don't Buy the snark. This is a terrific series

I have about a thousand titles in my audible library, and this is the first review I have taken the time to write.

Yes Allie is frequently whiney, makes ill-advised decisions and can be the definition of stubborn.but keep the faith and you will be handsomely rewarded. She outgrows these character flaws particularly in the later installments.

Bottom line the reason to listen to this series is that Devon Monk has done a wonderful job of world building, created a variety of intriguing characters and compelling storylines in every installment. I was very sorry to see the series concluded.

Read the entire series through book #9 in a week and a half. Wonderful, believable world building, and marvelous characters.

Great Series!

I really enjoyed the characters in all of this series and they all became my friends especially Allie and her pet. I really would like to see more of them, but it ended well.
