Publisher's summary

How’s a girl supposed to save the world with three hot men eager to distract her?

Prophecies, Explosions...Pie.

My life has ups and downs, but it’s always full of surprises. I sure never expected magic to exist, or that I would be attending a magic academy.

Or that the fate of the world might rest on my shoulders.

I was just me, Delaney Jones, a waitress and amateur fighter from Detroit. Now I’m a newbie witch, just barely scraping by in my classes, and, oh yeah, fighting off attempts on my life from people who think I’m some Chosen One. Good thing the cafeteria is stocked with all the comfort food I need.

And I need a lot. Most of the students hate me. The council that runs the academy might be dirty. And it’s putting it nicely to say my witchy powers are a tad bit erratic.

But I’m up to the challenge.

Especially with two hot men and one scorching demon by my side. And if I thought this new world was confusing, I have no idea what to think about the heat flaring between the four of us. I mean, any one of these guys would be every girl’s dream. But all three....

The fight of my life is steamrolling straight at me, and unless we sort our sh*t out and work together, some of us might not make it out of the battle alive....

Magic Misfire is the second book in the Raven Academy series, a reverse-harem romance with a university-age heroine having all the fun. Get this book if you like kick-ass heroines, steamy heroes, and sexy scenes so hot they’ll burn your ears. All characters are 18 years of age and older.

Exciting!

A. Caprice writes stories better and better! Raven Academy is full of witches, demons and warlocks. Delaney was there to study and gets tangled up with three hot men. She was met with a real problem. Some of the students wanted to destroy her.
Meghan Kelly is an amazing narrator! She can make you think you’re watching every emotion and move the characters are making.

narrator and story review

I hate how whiny the character sounds from the narrator. At certain point the author rushed things, like she didn't know how else to introduce 3 guys getting with her. Finally when the main character is betrayed by two, she gets over it in minutes and trusts them immediately. Then sleeps with them

Delaney journey continues

The second book in the series continues to present us with interesting events that are happening in Raven Academy to Delaney in the and the three-man she has mutual affection with. Besides all the magical challenges she is faced with, she has to juggle between hew men as well. She is a survivor, her life before the academy made her strong to face any challenges. It is very entertaining to follow her adventures.

Meghan Kelly did an exceptional job in narration, There are a lot of characters, however, each one of them had its own voice and personality.

More Raven Academy Greatness! Awesome Narration🎧

A. Caprice continues to bring it in the second novel of Raven Academy series, delivering more magic and imaginative and fascinating storylines. The great world building continues as we delve deeper into the dynamics and workings of the magical world. Delaney Jones is still learning about her own magical abilities and the prophet that she was not entirely convinced is about her. But clues are telling her otherwise and in this book she is faced with even more challenges, she continues to grow closer to two of her three guys, Dante and Gareth, the three are all team Delaney but Professor Bane still keeps his distance. There is never a dull moment in this fast paced, action packed book, there is plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, mystery, thrilling and suspenseful moments and the start of a hot reverse harem romance. A. Caprice thank you for another great story, I am looking forward to what happens next!

My Thoughts on Magic Misfire

Book two is definitely bringing a good energy for me. It was well paced and kept my attention the whole time. I liked the progression of the overall storyline as well as the small progression of the relationship(s) between Delaney and her men. While I still don’t think the guys have come close to really gelling, I was able to really see some potential there in this book. There were lots of interesting new twists thrown in, lots of paranormal beings that make up the world both good and bad which I really liked and by the end I was excited to see what book three will bring.

Meghan Kelly once again brought it with the excellent narration. I was so happy she was brought on for book two and hope she continues with the next. She really just does a great job with so many voices to give life to and I can always tell exactly “who’s speaking” when she performs. Plus this character has great wit and personality and I could hear that in Meghan’s voice.

A magical listen

Book 2 in this series. Both A..Caprice and Meghan Kelly outdid their selfs in this reverse harem audio. This story is filled with twits and turns , lots of mystery. Delany still can’t believe she has her own magic . She’s still trying to get a hold of her magic. There is written word the only way the world will be saved is by Delany , . 2 of her mates play a big part in her life and the professor tries to keep his distance but it’s tough. Gareth and Dante 2 of her mates are always by her side

Meghan Kelly is fantastic as always. She brings the story to life . You can tell who each characters is by her tone . She has a strong voice that is outstanding. I highly recommend this one

My Two Pennies

We continue on right where book one left off and we’re given more suspense and romance as Delaney “the chosen one” and her men continue forward trying to find out what happened to the missing witches and warlocks. Dante is my favorite although Bane is not far behind. I adore listening to the narration by Meghan Kelly, this woman brings an individual voice to each character and just pulls me into the story more then before. I cannot wait to see what happens in book three.

Fantastic 2nd book in the series!

I found this audiobook to be well written and narrated. The storyline is interesting and entertaining. I normally like to have all the books of a series so that I can listen to them all at once. All in all a great story.
The narrator does a fantastic job with the characters and the voices of each character making it easy to distinguish between the characters. I love listen to Meghan Kelly. I definitely recommend this audiobook.
