Excellent Introduction to MS

A family member was just diagnosed with MS. I could have spent hours researching the disease online, but I am really glad I chose this book instead. The author clearly is an expert and experienced in dealing with questions from patients and family members. Best of all, her narration sounds like Michelle Obama in Becoming, which has to be the best possible way to hear devastating information.

The articulation of the author was great and keeps you interested in a topic that is boring to most. This book gives you a core understanding of MS and how it effects the person with it.

Excellent Intro to Basics

This short book did a great job explaining MS, treatments, and what life can be like with the disease. It was very helpful for a newly diagnosed MS sufferer to learn more things that I'd kind of read on the internet but were more easily understood the way this doctor explained.

This book help me learn more about my MS condition. I was recently diagnosed last year and was not getting enough information about what I had. No one in my family has it so I was a lost. This book has helped me not only understand what I am going through but has given me hope in life. As a black women i needed to understand how this effects me as a woman of color.
