A beautiful tale of love and letting go

OMG!!! I bawled for most of this book! Quick story of a couple coping with a devastating illness. The love and impending loss is palpable...hence my bawling. The story is well written and the narration! Again, so much feeling in this short story that I couldn’t stop the bawling! Worth the brief listen.

A real true love story

I love these lunchtime reads and although this is a bit longer than someone’s lunchtime it is short enough to get started and finished at lunchtime. Anyway this book is above all of the love stories this is a true love story forget romance forget the butterflies this book explores and explains what true love is I recommend this to anyone who loves love stories. This book is awesome!

Loving You

Loving You is a true love story. The love that Julian and Gracie have for each other shines through especially in difficult times... a terminal illness.

Jessica Tilles writes with such feeling. I really experienced the emotions as the story unfolded.

The right narrator makes a great story even better. Kelley Hazen performs with such emotion and flawlessly moves between the characters.

Have your tissues close at hand for this listen!

Great Quick Read

Loving You was a great quick read by Jessica Tilles. Julian and Grace have been married for sixteen years and they knew immediately that they would be married. Julian must now come to terms with the fact that he will lose Grace to a cancer battle. I really enjoyed listening to this beautiful story of unconditional love as well as pain. I really enjoyed listening to Kelley Hazen's narration and how she brought life to the characters.

Teary eyed listen

When you get married, you never know where life will take you. Julian saw Gracie sixteen years ago, and it was love at first sight. He told her that day she was going to be the one he marries. They have been happily married and now life has taken a turn. Gracie's illness is not getting better and the two are coming to terms with it, but in completely different ways. Jessica Tilles compassionately writes this story as we hear Gracie and how her strength, faith and love from Julian has given her the ability to face her path. She also adds Julian with his anger and frustration of knowing his life will be forever changed. It's sad, realistic and richly inspirational all wrapped up in 2 hours. A very telling tale of true love.

Kelley Hazen is an amazing storyteller and she truly enhances the story. Her rich voice brings the emotional story so much feeling that I was caught up in it. I love Gracie, with her spunk and wisdom and could hear her resolution through Hazen's performance. She then gives us Julian, with his fierce love, inability to give up and pain knowing he can not help her with such a voice that will bring the tears to your eyes and make you want the same kind of love these two have. I enjoyed her performance.

forever love

This is a poignant story of a forever love, only to be tested to the limits. It will touch your heart and soul. There are moments of love, laughter and grief. Gracies illness is a challenge to Julian. He's full of anger, frustration and impending loss. I listened to the story, and enjoyed the narration by Kellie Hazen. Her emotions are felt throughout the story. She flawlessly changes voices and emotions between characters. I was gifted this audio and offered my honest review.

A Great Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and found it inspiring. The story of the last days of a marriage, of a love story. As you listen, the characters pain can be felt and as they recall the changing events of their relationship. Though, there is much sadness in this story, there is also inspiration, to live your life until your last breath. The perfect length to listen to for a short road trip.
