Where’ the plot?

This is the second book in a series. I won’t be reading the third. There is just no story. It’s all Darcy and Lizzy telling each other how much they love them. Lots of making love but not steamy. No angst. No tension. It was all fluff and no substance. Good writing but find a plot, please.

Gets annoying soon

The overdone descriptions of ODC coupling, and the repetitive speeches describing how much they love, adore, need, etc. get annoying quickly.
This could have been a much shorter, and more enjoyable listen if scenes "faded to black" and let our imagination run wild. I usually skipped forward in 10 second increments until I got past the vigorous and virile passages.
I had to speed up the narrator to 1.25 to bring her to a more enjoyable listening speed. other than that, her voices weren't bad.

entertaining story

there is a lot going on in this series, which makes good entertainment. the Darcy's have the worst luck. lol. I would have loved this book way more if it was not for the excessive bedroom scenes. Its so much that I have no interest in getting the 3rd book right away. I need a break from the Darcy's. I never thought I would say those words. *shudder*

Too much sex

I liked the story. also lots of detail. but way too much sex. I missed why the Darcy house housekeeper didn't like Elisabeth. I will not get the third book because of the sex.

VERY INTERESTING

I enjoyed the series very much. I am happy the author let us see them as humans. As newlyweds they would be involved in knowing each other physically and mentally. I it is a spin off from a classic, but I like the way she showed all aspects of the Darcy’s. I wish we could have learned more about Caroline.
