AMAZING!!

The best sequel of Pride and Prejudice EVER!!! Love the way Sharron Lathan writes! Amazing

Beautifully written

Oh my days! What a wonderful sequel. I won’t lie it started it off a bit slow but once it got going it was wonderful I’m reading the next book too! The best chapter was the Christmas chapter!

lotsa bedroom

It was chapter 5 that I realized there had been one scene not about "marital relations" or describing the detail of "marital relations." Perfect if that is what you were looking for, but I was wanting a character study/ drama and just couldn't bear more strong hands and heaving... well, you know. Not my cup of tea (give it a 1) but I'm sure some people it is fan-flippin-tastic (give it a 5).

Amazing story of real love

Would you consider the audio edition of Mr. & Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy: Two Shall Become One to be better than the print version?

I think that the audio edition of this book gives more depth to the book. The characters truly come to life and you can hear the adoration, sarcasm, and humor in every sentence.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I believe that my favorite character will always be Fitzwilliam Darcy. He proves that all men have many layers to their lives. They must be able to be strong when most needed but also to be soft and gentle when occasion requires.

Have you listened to any of Corrie James’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've never listened to any of Corrie James's performances before so I don't have anything to compare it to.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I have read this series a few times in paperback and I loved it then but it truly comes to life in the audio edition.

Ehhhh it was ok

It was worth the credit and was read well. Good sequel to P&P. I won’t listen to the next one though.

narrators voice almost ruined it for me

the narrators voice seemed a tad too aged for this kind of reading. the pair are young, but it felt like a grandmother was reading it. no offense to the narrator. she did a good job with the voices and clarity and fluency, but I would have preferred a younger voice. or Richard Armitage.

Sex and little else

The story is comprised of sweet nothings whispered during foreplay and non graphic sex. There are short interludes with other characters. At 8 hours in nothing at all has happened and I can't find a plot. It's good for background if you get it free.

But it fulfills the need to envision what might have happened after the wedding. Dialog was more like written words, not as natural as conversation. Would have liked a little more plot vs. the plethora of love scenes.

GOOD STORYLINE MARRIED BY TOO MANY GRAPHIC LOVE SCENES

i really liked the author's attention to details of the original Pride and Prejudice storyline. The descriptions of the characters, Pembrrly and the surrounding countryside were great. But the story contains rather graphic sex scenes that I feel were totally inappropriate for the culture of the time, and not 8n keeping with what Jane Austin intended.

Although the narrator was very good, the sex scenes made the story less than enjoyable for me as i found myself having to skip through much of the sexual content in order to continue listening. At one point, I almost decided to discontinue listening altogether. But I decided to cut through the objectionable parts in favor of getting to the conclusion. so i probably won't be buying anymore titles by this author.

This is a lovely peaceful quiet book to enjoy

But not particularly an exciting or fast paced one. The pacing at times is quite slow, b but the narrator's voice is pleasant, encouraging a lovely, restful reading time.
