Definitely emotional and forbidden... a great listen.

Wow. What and emotional and forbidden storyline. I enjoyed the banter between Mateo and Vera. Their chemistry was palpable and hot. The beginning will intrigue you and you’ll be hooked until the end. The narration is fantastic.

Great story overall

I liked the story. Loved the Male lead Mateo. The female lead was unlikable often, she was 23 but way more immature than a 23 year old. The way the story unfolded I guess redeemed what I didn’t like about her. Overall great book with culturally rich characters. Not all love stories are perfect, but all love stories are worth fighting for.

Very Emotional!

Loved the depth of the characters. Mateo and Vera's story was delicious. While I am not a fan of age gap romances with young women and older men, this one worked.

Overall, just OK.

Let me start of by what I did love about this audio, the narrator, she did an amazing job with all the characters voices. She was amazing with the accents and with giving the characters life. The story overall was ok. I can’t explain it but when it was done, I just wanted it to be more. Overall I give “Love, in English” three stars.

Absolutely lived this one! Story line, narration, all of it. I didn't tear up on this one, but it was still a good one <3

Loved this book!

How they met, fell in love, and how Mateo never gave up on them. This was my favorite book this year. Why didn’t I find it sooner.

Incredible Story

I have read this book 5 times and listened to it on Audible 3 times and am sure I’ll read and listen again. The story is about a love that can’t be stopped in the face of great obstacles and the guilt of falling in love with someone who is already taken. It is also about a fun experience as an adult making new friends away from home at a retreat. There is a sequel to this called Love In Spanish that is a MUST and Audible needs to make it available!!!

Fun story

This story was definitely and well written. I enjoy the characters and the funny moments of them. It was a nice read I would recommend

Main character was really unlikable

I had a hard time getting through this. The main character was unlikable and her relationship didn’t seem to develop fully.
