Their faith will face its toughest test yet.
Four years after getting the biggest break of his life, Cameron Lee’s music career has taken a nose dive, leaving him two options: become a sellout or give up on his lifelong dream. He reluctantly returns home for his sister’s wedding, hoping to avoid his past and find his love for music again.
Single mom Lexie Walters has suffered her fair share of tragedies and setbacks, but she has finally scraped together the money to achieve her dream of going into business with her cousin as an interior designer. When Lexie’s life is at an all-time high, she runs into her teenage crush, Cameron Lee.
Lost in the emotional turmoil of failure, Cameron is immediately drawn to Lexie and her infectious smile and optimistic spirit. Moreover, he adores her mouthy, no-holds-barred daughter. But fantasies only last so long, and soon Lexie and Cameron must face the real world, the one fraught with heartbreak, disappointment, and questions that sometimes can only be answered by a leap of faith.

There is a scene at Cassie's wedding that kind of has a rom-com feel, and then later on in the story, I shed a few tears... Tammy L. Gray has done it again!!
Before I bought this book, I read the reviews, and every one of them commented on how bad the female narrator was. As I listened to the story, I had to wonder if we were listening to the same book because I thought she was great. I think both narrators did an AMAZING job.

I was worried I wouldn’t enjoy listening to it after reading other reviews but the female narrator didn’t bother me like it did others. However after just listening to the other 2 books in the series by another narrator, I found myself wanting to hear her take on the voices instead of someone else, since that was what I was used to. All that said, I still really enjoyed listening to this story.

She found her voice in this book and the first! The 2 book was choppy and inconsistent. I was never a fan of Dacry and her walk with the Lord didn't seem to strengthen until the very end of the book.
This book is my 2nd favorite in the series... I may have to listen to it twice. I like the mail voice and though the comments scared me, the female voice is really not that bad. took 2 chapters to get used to but its not AI generated sounding, its just a normal voice. Incase you are like me and a little verse to take the jump! Cameron has a lot of growing up to do and His walk with the Lord is my favorite part! maybe I am a bit biased, but I love Tammy L's Writing!
Lex is a good lead female, she to has her set of goriwng up to do, but she grows on you. She's actually a lot of fun and though she is not a perfect parent, with the information she has, she is a good mom to Morgan! ❤️
The first book in the series and then this one!
