The production - brilliant.
The Narrators - Ecstatically Excellent. Both are new for me but not for long!
Story - Simple yet delicious.

WOW‼️ This Historical Romance has blown my mind because, it is not in my usual wheelhouse of what I read. But It was bloody brilliant ❣️

It has humor, angst and at parts made me weepy and at others made me want to fight. But it has a HEA ☺️

I would say if anyone has triggers about WWII or race then perhaps this isn’t for you…but the rest of y’all need to get this book❣️

Shirra Lynn is a new author to me and I definitely want to read more.
The perfect narration by John Rogers and Aure Nash who are splendid narrators, bring this story to life. ❣️❣️

Oh Wow! Soooo Wonderful. So Delicious!

This is a well written story about true love. It was an incredible duet performance with all the background sound effects that put visual thinkers like me right there in each scene. I love the action and the historical aspects of these two connecting with each other in the most difficult of circumstances. That magnetic pull of love can be a powerful thing. The narrators were Perfection bringing the characters to life giving us all the feels, the heat between them, their pain, etc. You will enjoy this ♥ delicious story from beginning to end. Ms Lynn, I understand this is your debut romance novel please don't let it be your last. I'm here for more!!!!

This has to be the best performance of an audio book I have ever heard. From the emotional and steamy story, narration, music, and the sound effects it was all wonderful. I listened straight through to the end.

The Heart Has No Prejudice!💕

I have read this story when it was first released and loved it then, and marveled how well it was written. After hearing this story in audio. all I can say is WOW! This was beautifully told, mixed with all the background sounds, made the visualization of this story unbelievable 👏🏼. It truly felt as though you were cast in time of these two. Both Narrator's were absolutely perfect. Well done, well done!!

I didn’t know that I needed this book in my life

This book is so incredibly romantic, steamy and sweet! What an amazing story about bravery kindness and love. Why are there no more books that dabble in this genre – World War II historical BWWM romance fiction! The narrator were chefs kiss. And holy cow 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
