Love knows no barrier.

Harrison is a beloved musician known for his heart-wrenching lyrics and his beautiful voice. But when tragedy strikes on stage, the doctors say he may never speak again. Left with little else, he finds comfort in the eyes of one of his nurses.

Luke has never known a song, having been born deaf. He struggles against the institution to prove himself as a grad student working toward his registered nursing certification. He’s seen the man in the hospital bed before, plastered around his sister’s room. Still, he’s no different than any other patient until Luke realizes he’s holding his breath every time their hands touch.

Follow their journey as they discover that speaking through the heart is louder than any words can be.

Love and Silence is a gay stand-alone romance audiobook intended for adults only.

Harrison and Luke just made me smile. Harrison loses his voice and his career in one moment. His pain and fear came across as real. So did Luke. He’s compassion personified. These two clicked immediately and things went like wildfire. Professional lines got crossed and the consequences came. Luke’s independence and inner strength were impressive. He’s not with Harrison looking for a leg up. He wants to be his own man on his terms. I liked that Harrison learned to listen and admit his mistakes. His heart was in the right place but pushing Luke backfired. I’d love to see these two again. It’s clear they need a family and Dr. Ren needs his own HEA as well.

Audiobook: The narrator is clear and his pace is great. I would've liked more tone inflection and more distinction between the two main characters. I loved his voice for Dr.Ren.

I was devastated to elated as I listened to this. I empathized and was furious with some of the actions taken. I was so happy thay both guys felt enough emotionally to pursue a hea, because they deserved that and more for all they had been through together and apart . What a journey! The narration was great. I voluntarily listened to a free copyof this and am giving an honest review . Captivating!

This is probably one of my top favorite books by Peter Styles. I loved Harrison and Luke, both characters were so charming. Harrison lost his voice and his singing career with a freak accident and lucky to be alive. Luke is a nurse who is deaf and is very compassionate. Both men clicked immediately, some professional lines got crossed, but the chemistry between the men was electric. Although both men each have a disability, this story shows how love can smash through any barriers and transcends. The narration was very well done.

Wow just wow

It started off promising but then I feel it missed the mark a little, it moved a little too quickly and with the whole premise and a little more development it could have been so much better. Overall it's a quick and easy listen with a good narrator.
