Cute Romantic Prequel

This was my first experience with Julia Kent's work, and it was entertaining. This was a prequel and so the content was limited, which might be why I didn't think that the story was as complete as it could have been. I'm interested enough in the characters that I'm looking forward to the first book in the series. Erin Mallon's and Teddy Hamilton's dual narrations were fun. They were easy to listen to and I enjoyed their performances. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Friends to enemies

What a way to start a new series. Julia Kent has given us a wonderful insight into her new world in this fun read. Can't wait to see how these once friends now enemies turn into more.

All the right reasons to love this prequel!

Really enjoyed this introduction into a new series… from friends-to-enemies… to hopefully lovers? This author never disappoints with her laugh-out-loud, crazy situations that pull you in right from the start. I loved the characters, the office setting and rivalry, and the play on Kell’s last name--what a fun concept for a town! This is just the tip of the iceberg and I can’t wait to see what happens between Rachel and Kellan, if their friendship survives and turns into something more, and what the loving town of Luview has in store for us! The narration was top-notch, as Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton are the perfect duo… bringing the funny and seriousness as they elevated these characters and story with a performance that brought this entertaining tale to another level. Can’t wait for the next book!

Great Beginning

I love reading books by Ms. Kent. Her books are hysterical. She comes up with the most crazy and zany circumstances for her characters. Teddy and Erin as Kel and Rachel were fabulously performed. They were able to convey what the town of Luview is all about.

Great Read

Love You Wrong (Love You, Maine #0.5) was a great read by Julia Kent. Kellan "Kell" Luview, left his tourist-trap small town as well as his dad's business behind in rural Maine. He is working at an environmental policy think tank in Washington, D.C. He is more comfortable climbing trees, than actually talking about them. He feels as though he is pulled in too many directions when his girlfriend Alissa starts acting weird. His best friend Rachel needs an embarrassing public rescue. His mom also hints that things are not going well at home in Luview Maine, where everyday is Valentine's Day. Tell must decide who to trust, he must also figure out fast whether Rachel's warnings about Alissa are credible. This pits Kell against Rachel in a battle where truth is uncertain and hearts will be damaged. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

What a fun start to Luview…

Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton do a wonderful job bringing Julia Kent’s characters to life. We meet Rachel and Kell in DC where they’re trying to save the planet one lemur at a time. Plenty of drama and laughs as the story unfolds. A misunderstanding (and trusting the wrong person) leave these two at odds with a perfect lead-in into Love You Right. I’ve already started listening and loving it just as much.

Enjoyed this!

I’m looking forward to the rest of the series, despite the evil big oil…blah, blah, blah. Ignoring that, I really enjoyed it!

Loved this.

A prequel to the Love You Right story line, in this newest series by Julia Kent. This story has much drama and angst, but also the humor we expect from this author. Including a strange and hilarious wake. Grab this and then continue on to the next in this series
