Publisher's Summary

Book two in New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Samantha Chase's dazzling new series: the Shaughnessy Brothers are back.

He lives by a schedule

Aubrey Burke is on the run from an about-to-be-disastrous mistake when resort owner Hugh Shaughnessy catches her climbing through his office window. Until Aubrey tumbled into his life, Hugh had relied on work and discipline to safeguard a heart damaged by family tragedy. Now his careful world will never be the same.

She lives for the moment

Hugh's approach to life and love is the opposite of Aubrey's, but she soon finds herself falling hard for the handsome hotel mogul. There's a darker reason behind her "live for today" attitude than Hugh could possibly know, but for the first time Aubrey dares to hope this man's love might make it worth taking a chance on the future.

The end was super cheesy

Enjoying this story until the very end when things got a little cheesy. She never even got the opportunity to tell him about her inability to have kids but moreover that she was open to adoption or fostering or other methods. It was just very rushed and ruined the book.

Nice Story. Narration was poorly suited

Great story. Easy listen. Bedroom experience could have been shorter. More illusive. Oration was the killer: an effeminate voice with a lisp for the hot, muscular love interest and the old Irish dad

Love Walks In

Love Walks In, I enjoyed this book it does not drag on about the male bringing up how much he misses his Mum, as much as book one did. It was a pleasant read.

 A powerful story.

Every so often a story comes along that makes a reader stop and take notice. It's never one specific aspect but the combined product that has a profound affect. Love Walks In by Samantha Chase is one of those reads. This story was a hard read for me. Beautifully written with characters that any reader can picture and love. What broke me in two was the heartbreaking circumstances that left such a lasting footprint on the lives of such young vital people. A powerful story.

Yeah, I cried

Wow. Ms chase did it again. Such a sweet story. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. This series follows a family of strong characters- each with h a book of their own. This allows each character to be developed more fully. Even though each book stands alone it does give you insight on what’s happening “behind the scenes “ to lead you to the next story or glimpse into a past one. I love that there is no graphic yuck but a sweet love story.

Good

I liked this book better than the first. I do see a pattern where the heroines start out as strong talented confident women and the heros are ruggedly clueless. The first 1/2 of ea book is dazzling with humor and banter and romantic endeavors but then the gals take a turn out to be ridiculous insecure whips and the guys wake up and fix them... ugh.

Yes there is a HEA and this one has a really terrific playful romantic ending but I just wish the women were portrayed less pathetically anything for my man types. Howeber, the overly sicky sweet tone the female narrator takes when Aubrey speaks to Hugh may contribute greatly as to why I end up not respecting the gals in the end. I wonder if I would have enjoyed reading the book instead of listening. I might try that on the next one.

Personally I find the male narrator to be exceptional 8n distinguishing his different characters. I can actually recognize which brother is speaking just by the individual inflections.

Storyline, fatherly wisdom and umique heartfelt ending make this an overall thumbs up.

Sweet love story

I will admit I wanted knock those two around, tell each other the whole situation before someone walks away hurting. But it is a great story. Samantha Chase is a great author
