I’ve only listened to 30

Currently only listened to 30mins but I’m already ready to return. Will Damron really sounds like he’s reading. And he sounds super kid friendly and theatrical.
Not the narrator for these type of books.

Love Under Quarantine

Being 100% I wasn’t sure I wanted to listen to a book about the pandemic but its Kylie Scott and I love her books.

I will say because I listened to the audio I was a little thrown off by the dual narration because I am so used to Andi doing both in Kylie's other books. So I didn’t really welcome Will’s narration until about half way through. But then I warmed up to him and actually appreciated that he did Evan’s POV chapters.

I loved that Sadie is a romance writer that was kinda awesome. How they meet and start to talk is interesting. I think because so much hits home for a lot of us right now it’s a little hard to read.

The isolation and fear we are all feeling really shines through and that can be a little daunting. But the hope and love that the authors give us with the story twists gave it that little extra to want to know what happens.

Very glad I picked up this book and followed through with it. I really did enjoy this story and the different style than I am used to with Kylie's work.

Not bad

It’s a light and fun read. It’s pretty unrealistic- very & truly a fantasy of a romance. I just wasn’t having too much fun of the fast phase the 2 characters were in. Great idea for a book for this time and of course, I could relate on the Quarantine desires and worries. Overall, It’s okay read.

bit too graphic for my taste

I like Kylie Scott as an author because her stories are so varied and not too formulaic.

This story However was a bit much for me. underneath all the graphic sexual content was what seemed to be a cute story but there was just not enough story to balance out the chapters of graphic details.

Narration was perfect, as always.

WHILE IT'S GOOD TO BE FIRST, IT'S NOT GREAT!

I love the books this team produces. I started reading them for escape right after the pandemic started. This is below their usual story and dialog standards - a C+ compared to solid A's. Still, they are first to capitalize on COVID-19 in the romance market. By no means their best work, this is still a grounbreaker for the soft-porn romance genre.

She does it again!

Audrey Carlen is a new author to me, but it’s characters like these that have me coming back to Kylie Scott!
Believable, real, and very relatable characters!
With curves! I love it!

Was curious about quarantine plot

I was interested in what the plot and interaction would be for a rom com regarding the issues surrounding the seriousness of the situation

It was a creative story

Just meh

Firstly, Andi did a brilliant job, once again, as narrator. Will, however, was completely wrong. He just sounded like a pervy, creepy guy - it completely pulled me from the story.

I have no issues with stories being set during the current pandemic - but this story just didn't work. It could be because as someone who spent over 12 weeks in hard lockdown complete with restrictions on how far we could travel and a curfew - these two characters came off as whinny and weak and all I kept thinking was toughen up. I don't know... it could aslo be that because we're still smack bang in the middle of the pandemic not enough time has passed. I did not emphasise will the characters at all.

It also seemed that the authors used this book to have a go a readers who didn't like their work.

All in all - it was just meh.
