Bethany Claire + Lily Collingwood = a truly magical pair!

I had read the e-book prior to listening to the audiobook. I had already loved the story. But somehow listening to it, as performed by Lily Collingwood, took 'Love Beyond Reach' to a whole new level for me.

It's almost like watching a movie that you already loved in digital cinema and then going to see it in extreme XD or IMAX. What I really loved about this audiobook is Lilly Collingwood's ability to deliver so many different male and female voices in such believable Scottish accents.

There were times when I felt like I was in a room with the characters and listening to their conversations.... that's how real her narration made it seem. I will admit that the one character that I had to get used to was the voice of the present day (elderly) Jerry. That voice probably sounded most different than I had imagined that it would.

Another thing I really enjoyed about this audiobook was the ability to close my eyes and totally immerse myself into the story. I felt as though I experienced parts of the story through listening that I missed while reading.

I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. In summary, I honestly thoroughly enjoyed and loved it.

Exceptional Knowledge to Book Sets 1 & 2

I have listened to Morna's Legacy Box sets 1 & 2 already, but this explains the Story of Morna & her family/life. Loved all books!

Morna's Story Finally At Last

Love Beyond Reach is Morna's story. Since the first book, Love Beyond Time, I have wondered about Morna of why she is living in the present when she was born in the past and how Jerry came to be. The answers are finally here.

Morna's education in witchcraft didn't go as fans of this series would think it would. Morna is challenged at every level but she finds a way to continue her education and be the person that her brother Allister has forseened her to be. She will be meddler in bringing soulmates together but she also has to learned to trust in her magic to find her happiness.

Readers/Listeners will think this is the end of Morna's Legacy but this is a beginning of something new that may or may not branch off in a new direction for this series. Love Beyond Reach doesn't disappoint except I did have high expectation because this is Morna's story. I would rate this book as a 4.5 stars if there are such thing as half star.

I love, love the narrator, Lily Collingwood. She is the voice behind this whole series. I can't see anyone but her to be the right narrator for this series.

Finally!!!

This story has been long awaited by everyone who loves this series. It finally gives us the full backstory of how this story came to be. I appreciate the author's attention to the details she has dropped into all of the preceding books, and then elaborated on them. This story was defiantly worth the wait!

Totally Wonderful!

Learning how Morna became the person she is was a magical trip! It is a great story of love, betrayal, and strength for her. This one is a can't miss.
Lily Collingwood does a wonderful job as always as narrator and she brings all the characters to life in an amazing way. A+++++.

We end up at the very beginning.

I must say how much I enjoyed Love Beyond Reach. This time around we learn about Morna's story, It was a fascinating ride through time from learning how she and Jerry met and came together. Morna has always been such a meddlesome lass with her witchery and matchmaking. So it was definitely fun to see Morna matched with her one true love. Of course, the usual cast of characters are sprinkled throughout the book. It's like reuniting with old friends every time I listen to an Morna's Legacy tale. It seems the best was saved for last with this one. Loved it!!

Yes, I would definately listen to it again as I loved the way Lily bought the characters to life, in this book.

I didn't compare it to any other book.

What does Lily Collingwood bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

It made me laugh and it made me cry. Lily made Grier more vivid than when I just read it as normal. I cried as members of the family died and as Morna felt she's lost her true love.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I was wishing I could of listened to it in one sitting but real life had a way on still being able to interrupt :-)

Any additional comments?

I've read and also listened to all the books in this series and when I'm reading them I envision the characters one way, yet sometimes when Lily reads the book I see them in a completely different way and I like that about being able to also listen to them it in the audible version. The way she creates tension in a scene is really brilliant. I love the way she glides effortlessly from the different characters in each story.

Recommendation:
Yes! After almost a dozen other books where Morna is the link connecting those around her to love, it was wonderful to read her origin story. Love Beyond Reach is book 8 in the series and can be read as a stand-alone story, but I would still recommend reading the first 7+ ones before starting this one. Without knowing Morna’s future, her history is not as impactful.

There’s not much to say about this story except, thank goodness. With a beloved character like Morna, it would have been easy for BC to write a story for Morna that was not up to the reader’s expectations. There was nothing about this story that was a letdown. Morna and Jerry had just the right amount of push and pull, with Morna’s family ties finally shown, and even Kip and Mary make a sweet appearance. There’s enough intrigue to make it not just a pure romance novel, and of course, the time-travel aspect was present.

It was wonderful going back to Conall Castle and seeing old friends, especially when they are as sweet as Morna, her brother, Jerry, and Mary.

Audiobook Review:
Lily Collingwood is, as always, enjoyable to hear.

Best in the series!

This, by far is the best one in the entire series. So many of my questions were answered.
