Publisher's summary

Aiden Kincade hasn't had it easy. As the youngest of three Scottish brothers, he's watched his two older brothers fall head over heels in love.

Unlike his brothers, he is destined to be alone. Due to an old family prophecy, he knows whoever he loves will suffer a tragic death too soon. So he hides in the woods of Scotland, sharing his solitude with his animals.

But fate has other plans for this broken-hearted scot when it tosses a beautiful princess out of the sea and into his arms. Danger isn't far behind, but with the League of Rogues at his back, Aiden must fight to keep the woman he loves alive, even if she is destined to belong to another.

The quiet, wounded one…

Aidan is one of those characters that you’ll always want to know more of—-the story barely scratches the surface, but it does give hope for the wounded ones.
I gave this lots of stars within this type of novel. It’s not classic literature but within shorter romance novels, Lauren Smith writes compelling characters.

beautiful descriptions

I loved how the story continues with familiar characters, but also introduced n÷ew people and places to the collection. I love Shane East, but I didn't care for the breathy voice the female narrator used for Anna. It didn't keep me from loving the story and listening to it all the way through.

joyful and steamy romance to make your heart sore.

I love my entire journey through this book. I was right with the characters each step of the way, in every event and every moment of love and pain. You can see everything around you when its described and get transported into the pages. No other novel or series will ever replace this book or the leauge of rouges at my number one tier in my mind. Thank you to the other for this beautiful series and I hope to read many more of your amazing creations.

Best one yet

If you’re reading this before Charles story, then listen to this first! It occurs before Charles story but besides that, it was my favorite of the series. The narration was just AWESOME too!

Love the Kincade Brothers!

It was a good read. It was not my favorite out of all the Kincide Brothers but still very good. I honestly think I would like it more if they had a different narrator. All the books in this series had an amazing narrator. I don't know why they decided to change it. The male narrator was okay. The female narrator was just awful and I think that's what made me not give this book five stars.

Unusual twist

I have enjoyed the whole series, some books more than other. this one had a great hero, but the narrator of the heroine was irritatingly.
