Following through this book with the actual writer/musician was amazing. He introduces us to the stories and creativity behind some of the greatest songs we’ve ever heard on the radio and then performs the song! And he performs them like no one else can because these are his words. This is his music. I am a behind-the-scenes kind of gal and I love the trivia behind movies and music. This will be one of my all-time favorites from now on. It’s actually something you can listen to again and again like an album. I highly recommend this musical anthology and I suggest you prepared to be moved.

Getting to hear the stories of his childhood in his own enthusiastic voice is heartwarming!
