Publisher's Summary

Frank was never the save-the-world type. He joined his college's Jedi dueling club to impress a chick he was into, and only stayed because he was too embarrassed to quit. He’s the type to have a crush, but the closest he’s gotten to action lately is when he stumbles upon his roommate having a hot threesome.

Damn, he'd love to feel what it's like to be that guy.

Be careful what you wish for…Life takes an unexpected turn when Frank discovers his grandpa's secret and travels back in time. Finding himself in a land of pirates that doesn’t quite line up with what he learned in history class, Frank soon learns he has a special ability to craft weapons based on locations someone has laid out for him and related to the time-travel device. All while bonding with a team of hot-as-sin pirate ladies.

Someone else has been traveling in time and messing it up, and now Frank’s the only one who can go up against the new Pirate King and put everything as it was.

Of course, while finally getting that threesome he was so envious of…and then some.

Warning: Harem fans, Gamelit lovers, and anyone else who wants a crazy story with highly adult situations and fun galore should continue. The rest of you, run away as fast as you can before the vileness of this content spreads and sucks you into a story you can’t escape.

I wanted to like it, but...

The plot feels like it could have so much potential, but I feel it just didn’t hit the mark. Most of the moments ended up exactly how I would have expected, so there wasn’t much to pull me along with the story.

I was hoping to get insight on why the girl want him, but all that was told was he’s “interesting”. In what way, really? There’s no character development with the protagonist and the girls still fall for him.

Great potential but with little follow-through.

This book started off with such great potential but then took a turn down word in the follow-through. The book is also riddled with contradictions and stupid explanations. Time travel right out of Doctor Who. A litRGP system that made no sense being there. And a ton of other stupid things. If the author wasn’t so busy craping these things out as fast as they could, then maybe it would be a much better story. I just hate to see great potential go to waste.

Save your money

lack luster plot, zero character development, many many many plot holes and forces. Even the "Graphic Sex" scenes are lacking in imagination. Main character is supposedly a college student, but acts more High school level.

very bland and forgettable story, next to no world building, mc is a giant whiney bitch puss puss the entire story. secondary characters are all genetic and not fleshed out. smut scenes were robotic and entirely boring. characters were in no way sympathetic. 2/10. narrator was whiney and bad 2/10. avoid this book if you dont want to grind your teeth.

Pretty good

With a couple complaints. First, Hawke uses the name of the character far too much for comfort, often ignoring pronouns. Hawke has a writing style that doesn't utilize implication as well as he could. Second, the sex scenes seem to get phoned in at a few points in the story. They're good, not great.

Yarrr mateys! Prepare for the biggest adventure!

Frank is thrown for a loop while reminiscing about his grandpa. one second he is looking at a compass, the next, he is trying to survive a pirate war between the rebels and the pirate. will he ever go back home. listen and find out. It was a fantastic read and I can't wait for the second installment!
