Awesome book 2

I think I enjoyed this one even better than the first book!! The ending of the 1st book really left me upset because I felt like it was very forced with Sawyer choosing the other girl and everyone believing it when he said from day one Demi was his future wife and mate. In this book that ended pretty quickly thankfully, and we got to see the plot move forward. I would love to see their pack and the Paladens come together to form one big pack so she wouldn't always feel torn. This is fastly becoming a favorite series which with the author I already knew it was going to be amazing and well written!!

Great book!

Just like the first book, this book was also amazing. All the twists and turns and following Demi as she walks through all the different fantasy lands was intriguing. 10/10 recommend.

This is such a great series!!!

This was even better than the first book!! So much going on, lots of action, and lots of interesting characters!! Demi is totally awesome!! I like Sawyer much better in this one too!!!

The narrator, Vanessa Moyen, does an awesome job with the voices of the different characters!!

I have loved this series! So much action and adventure! I can’t wait to see what is next for our Wolf Girl!

Narration!!

Awesome story, fabulous heroine and amazing narration. I love this book series….will be sad when it ends.

Let them eat cake (spoilers)

In this continuation the heroine (Demi) faces adversities while trying to stay alive on her own. And we (the reader) get a round trip ticket through the magical realms as she escapes her captors in vamp lands, and flees to troll territory, then onto dark fae lands, then to light fae lands, through the wild lands and back to the hero (Sawyer) in Wolf City - who has been going nuts since her kidnapping in book 1 (which was his fault FYI). The separation lasts more than half the book. Also there's a secondary character death.

It becomes clear in this book that while Sawyer is a fixture, and their relationship motivates the heroine, THIS IS NOT PRIMARILY A ROMANCE BOOK. I wish it were. I wish the two powerful leads had a more elemental and passionate relationship, but they hardly see each other (though they constantly mind communicate). The heroine does mature a little though. And she meets new ride or die friends. But she doesn't hold Sawyer to account enough for the shitshow that ended book 1, or, let's face it, his completely bigoted attitude about her Paladin heritage and people.

There's a very "let them eat cake" feeling to the end of this book. As Demi does her best to act like her bigot of a boyfriend and ignore the suffering of her people, tossing the Paladins a few rations (instead of giving her leadership), acting like some superficial first world nightmare.

Amazing

I loved this book and the love Soyer and Demi have for each other is so heart warming. The power Demi has is barely known and I wonder just how strong she will be. Such a great story. I love her fire lol she doesn’t just cower to her mate.

Action-packed!

This was the second book in the Wolf girl series and I think I liked it more than the first. In this, it picked up where the first book left off. Demi was taken by the vampires, and Sawyer declared Meredith to be his wife.

But it’s not long before Sawyer comes to his senses, sort of. I should say it’s not long before Demi realized what was happening with him.

More than half of this book is Demi fighting to get back to Sawyer. I love this kind of thing because it makes the reunion so much sweeter. But they aren’t in happy bliss long before more problems arise. This book was pretty action packed, and I have a feeling the next book will be the same.

There are new characters introduced in this book and I can’t wait for the next book to be recorded so I can learn more about them.
