Absolutely Loved

I hate spending money on a book that sucks. And seldomly read the work if new authors. I am an instant fan of D A Young with The Farmer and the Belle. After reading this book, I had no doubt that I'd continue reading D A Young's Books. OMG the cliff hanger set a perfect stage for Graham's story and I can't wait. Thank you D A💖

Hard to finish

I have this book on Kindle and I really enjoyed it, but this audible edition is horrible! It was like listening to my grandma reading a bedtime story. I swear I'm not purchasing any more books with one narrator. By now all romance novels should have both a male and female narrator. This was pure torture. she could not do a male voice to save her life. I didn't know when Wade was speaking or any other male character it was just unbearable. it was 8 hours but it felt like eternity. I didn't finish it and that's really sad because I really enjoy reading this book when I read it 🤷🏽‍♀️

Update sadly I returned this book and got my 7.49 back. I wanted to purchase more audio books by A.D but they're all narrated by the same person so can't.

Ok

I really liked this book and would recommend it. I would have given it 5 stars if the author hadn't used God's name in vain. You don't have to use "GD" to have a great book.

This love story was great and I usually can figure a book out, but never saw David being gay and her thinking she was artificially inseminated coming. Then Wade and his sister hearing a laughter that sounded like their grandmother and saying that was his daughter based on that was wild. I liked them together and how grown Camille acts.

I hope Sloan and Wade's high school nemesis gets together. I wish this book was a movie or TV show.

Another Treat from DA Young- Shonda Rimes of Books

Who could ask for more? This is the 2nd book in the Baymoor Carlton siblings trilogy that focuses on the oldest child, Eliza. For those of you who've read the Men of Whiskey Row series, you are treated to appearances from the Sullivan Brothers and their BFF wives. The author does an excellent job as always pulling us through time lines and character arcs. Also, as always we are treated to plenty of steaming ♨️ sex scenes courtesy of Eliza and Wade Holloway, the smoking 🥵 town sheriff. Although I think the narration could have benefited from a male voice, Mari does an excellent job handling it solo. I personally think this story is better than book 1 (focused on Georgina) just because there's more and deeper rabbit holes to go down plot wise. DA Young is the Shonda Rimes of books!
