Colin is smart, unassuming, likable, and dreams of becoming an Air Force pilot. Tony is an athletic, popular, gorgeous, fraternity boy, and the adopted son of extremely wealthy parents. When they meet in college in 1973, they become instant lovers. Colin will lose his chance to fly and Tony will lose his inheritance if anyone suspects they are gay, so they conceal the true nature of their relationship as students. They lose touch after graduation, but their paths cross frequently over the next four decades.
