Narrator ruined it for me

I tried to listen to this book as I'm a big Jillian Dodd fan. However, the narrator ruined it for me. She was boring to listen to and all the voices were the same. There was no distinction between her or her dad which drove me crazy. I've never returned a title before but I got 20 minutes in and couldnt do it anymore. Sorry Jillian. Maybe a different narrator would have saved this.

Boring

Absolutely no story line and absolutely boring. It’s just girl meets boy and off they go. What a waste of a credit!

Cute story

This is a cute story but WHYYYY doesn’t the narrator give the English characters an accent?

Team Noah

Loved it! I have already read the books but I am listening to London Prep 1 & 2 while waiting for Book 3 to be released.

I am obsessed with this story and can't wait to see where it leads.

The narration was fine but not perfect. There were some minor errors that I noticed when I was reading along occasionally (but none that distracted from the story). The inflection of the voices were not always as expected and the characters weren't really "brought to life" the way I had hoped they would be but overall I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Great Read

London Prep (London Prep #1) was a great read by Jillian Dodd. Mallory started a three-week student exchange in London. Mallory didn’t want to go because it will be drastically different than New York. She is staying at Noah’s house and meets Harry and Mohammad who are friends with Noah. Mallory thinks Harry is adorable and tarts a “relationship” with him. Noah is very intense but she also is attracted to him. I really enjoyed reading Mallory’s story and can’t wait to read more in this series.

Every womans inner high schoolers dream

This book is every womans inner high schoolers dream. We all wish this could have been our journey. From being forced to travel abroad for school, seeing a new country and making new friends, to the hot guys that attach themselves to her. You will be throughly jealous as well as heartbroken at the events Mallery goes though. I absolutely can not wait for book two. I devoured this book way to fast and need more.

Such and addictive read!

Jillian Dodd does YA romance and high school drama so well. When I saw she was writing a new series set at a private school in London, I knew I had to get my hands on it. London Prep is one of those books you won’t be able to put down. I devoured it!

Mallory James is a high school student from NYC who gets sent to London for a student exchange program. The host family she’s staying with for three weeks has a son her age, Noah. Noah is quiet and a little broody at first, but he and Mallory grow on each other and get closer as time passes.

Noah has two best friends, Harry and Mohammed, and Mallory fits in perfectly with the three guys. Harry is Mr. Popular and has a magnetic personality. He’s smitten with Mallory from the start. They have the best time flirting together. Mohammad is hilarious and so much fun.

So there’s Harry and there’s Noah and Mallory has a connection and chemistry with the both of them… I know what boy I’m rooting for, but it could very well change in the next 2 books. I can’t wait to see what direction this goes in!

London Prep is full of that teenage angst I love so much in books. It was a fun read that made me laugh, but also had more serious moments. This was such an addictive read for me and I’m looking forward to more.

Fans of Jillian Dodd's YA will love this!

Jillian Dodd does high school drama SO FLIPPING WELL! London Prep was filled with what she does best- witty angsty drama filled with fashionable girls and gorgeous guys. Such fun! Cannot wait for the next book in the series! Moriah Martel's voice was definitely well-suited to the character of Mallory.

Two boys who both different and best friends which on does a girl choose. I have my choice but what choice will Mallory ultimately make? Loved this book and I can't wait to see how the story ends. Loved the narration definitely recommend if you are a fan of Jillian Dodd.
