As a horror lover myself, this book felt lackluster at best. It had moments of promise, but it fell short. In a book centered around a horror lover/fan, a lot of horror movie clichés and predictable scenes should've never happened. By the title it's giving off, it is different from normal horror media, but it was actually the same. It was disappointing to see the mistakes she made that she had easily seen done millions of times through the movies she'd seen and quoted. I knew the killer from the jump and figured you'd have two killers. It didn't really surprise me. Maybe I hoped for too much, but I just wish it wasn't so topical in the horror genre. Hoping for different but settled for just like the rest.
