This is an authentic love story.

What did you love best about London Bound?

Interracial Love of course. I also enjoyed the fact that it was in London. It just makes me as a reader hope in love, the places beyond my own vicinity.

What was one of the most memorable moments of London Bound?

When she and him first meets him of course. Oh no, I don't want to spoil anything. Actually I would have to say it's when she's at the party and she happens upon a certain couple. The emotion from both characters each dealing with their past in their own way. That part stuck out to me the most.

Have you listened to any of Graham Halstead and Kitty Bang ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not listened to their performances, but I will make this note about them; when the woman does Alexi's voice, he seems so much more sensual and tender than when the man reads Alexi. I don't know if it's an accent thing, but I thought it was so much hotter when she read his parts. It's not a bad note, it just really stuck out to me. The other characters come alive when the both of them read. You'll see what I mean if you purchase it.

Any additional comments?

Good Credit. Can't wait to read about the other brother...

LOVED IT!

I loved this story from start to finish. The performance was AWESOME and the story was BRILLIANT! The love story between Abby and Lex was beautiful! I like how the author took her time having them fall in love with each other. I love how she had Lex ask for permission to do things to Abby. Even something as small or as big as a kiss. I will definitely listen to this again and possibly purchase the actual book.

I recommend this audible to those who want to hear about a boy who fell in love with a girl who was unsure that she could trust someone again and that he could ever love someone at all!

Twisted Love Story

When I first started listening to this book my mind went to “Oh no another one of those.” But after continuing to listen the story took enough twists and turns that it kept me listening. Although I had to stop and come back to it. Therefore it took me three days to actually listen to the whole story. Abbie is in an abusive five year relationship and finally has the courage to get out. She runs not only from the apartment but from the country and lands in the class that she wanted to be in. She is a brilliant photographer and gets to train with one of the best. The first day of class the professor tells them he does not date his students so they will have to earn their degree the correct way. Her life just gets better from there. She almost gets hit by a mini cooper and is saved by none other than her professor’s brother.
The two brothers clash when they both want Abbie. Yet Abbie is drawn to the one who saved her. The brothers are hiding a secret that could endanger both of them. Yet Alexie will risk it all for Abbie.
A vindictive, dictatorial father, an abusive ex-boyfriend, a relationship that Alexie is in to protect one of his best friends, too much money, and several outsiders who contribute to the blow up and reconciliation of their relation all combine to create a pretty good story.

A real BWWM love story

Too often interracial love stories are very cliche. This was wonderfully refreshing. Steamy moments and loving moments and shake your head “yes ma’am” that’s the truth moments. As a BW married to a WM this spoke true to me. Thank you

Oh Yeah! This One is Goooood!

Nana Malone never disappoints, and this time, she weaves a lovely tale of how Abby left her abusive dirtbag boyfriend in the states and embarked on a journey to live her dreams on her own terms. Sexy Alexi enters the picture, and while they both try to avoid it, Dangit, they go and fall right in a big puddle of love. Past baggage, family dramas and a deep, dark secret all put a bit of drama into their relationship, but they learn to trust each other and get through to the good stuff. Awesome supporting characters of friends and family and authentic, comical banter make this a fantastic listen. I do hope there is a Chase Brothers 2 getting ready to be released so I can find out how Lexi's manslut brother, the very hot and talented Zander, fares when he inevitably steps in his steaming pile of love.

The dual narration team of Kitty Bang and Graham Halstead works well, and though both were very good, KB was just SO awesome with both male and female voices that I would have been perfectly happy with her doing both POVs all throughout the book. Loved this. Definitely one to listen to again. Cash-, credit- and Whispersynch-worthy. Get it, and you won't be sorry.

XOXO From London

What did you love best about London Bound?

I enjoyed this story of strength love and resiliency of Abbie. This story started with a powerless Abbie and ended with a strong intelligent woman who made her own way in the world. I enjoyed the readers authentic accents and the English slang. It is clear the author has visited this area and not just read about London.

What other book might you compare London Bound to and why?

I cannot think of another love story with real transformation. There was not a page in thus book that was wasted the live was real. The hurt was real the growth was real. Unlike most romance novel I have encountered this was sincere and did not involve a rich man whisking her away from her problems instead Abbie grew and conquered them herself! Bravo!

What does Graham Halstead and Kitty Bang bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The readers accents are wonderful. It actually reminded me if visiting over seas.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and I hated having to stop.

Any additional comments?

I am looking forward to the second book and other books from Ms. Malone.

Terrible narration

The actors have TERRIBLE accents. Considering the story is set in the UK and Audible have a large UK audience it's ridiculous to use actors who can't do the UK voices. I had to return it, which is a shame because Nana writes good stories. The London and New Castle accents were just too distracting. Seriously awful narration.

An enjoyable book

Great to listen to a story with a different perspective, mainly a different nationality. While the narration was not great, it still held my attention.
