Kidnapped on a planet 100 light years from home!

In the near future, a NASA deep-space telescope discovers a planet that has the necessary requirements to produce life. Rebecca Evans, a staunch evolutionary scientist, is one of the people chosen to visit the planet.

After arriving on the surface, she is kidnapped and finds herself caught in the middle of an ongoing planetary war between alien clans. In an effort to escape, she makes a deal with one of the clans to exchange precious technology for her freedom.

However, she soon finds out that on Ka’esh, you cannot trust anyone. For, on this planet, survival of the fittest is played out to its logical end. Her journey of discovery turns into a search for truth as she begins to question the very foundations of all that she believes about the origin of life.

Was going great until we got to the end...

Great listen... until the end. Definitely felt like a situation where the author had a "premise" to push and managed to write an amazing story and then BAM! in the last 10 pages you hit that brick wall going 100 mph and everything explodes into a dust storm that leaves you coughing and with that awkward feeling where you realize you were having a great time and then somehow managed to end up in a church where people are speaking in tounges and running around with rattlesnakes and you just want to escape but everyone is looking at you...waiting.

Fantastic story and message

I don't typically care much for the sci-fi/fantasy genre but I love how the genre was used to share such an important message. The message was shared in an entertaining and gentle way while still packing a punch of truth. The narrator did a fantastic job with the effects and character voices too. Definitely a worthwhile listen!
