Fantastic!

Get this powerful story! I promise you will not regret it! It has everything in it. The narrator did a wonderful job with the characters. I liked his voice very much.

Great story and you feel apart of it and the family

Would like a more feminine voice for the women although the narrator was good. As much as you spend for audible can’t they have a women on the same book. It’s like so many of the books,

Loved It!!!

KLV has done it again. I could not stop listening. You are taken on a ride from the start, and I love that. I enjoyed the way Curtis and Elle's story was developed. The additional characters made this book interesting and very entertaining. I don't like to give spoilers, but... I thoroughly enjoyed the characters (Christopher & Dustin de Lohr (Rise of the Defender), Alexander de Sherrington (A Time of End), Sean de Lara (Lord of Shadows) as well as other) from KLV's other books being in this one. It makes me want to revisit those books again.

Nathaniel Black as the narrator is just ok for me, but better than others. I am spoiled you see, there are other narrators I like better. Oh well, to each his own. Either way you will enjoy this book.

GOOD STORY, deep characters, superb narrator

K.Le Veque has been one of my favorite authors for many years. I read many of her books over the years, including "The Rise of the Defender", and many others, , so this series about the Sons of de Lohr was especially interesting and fulfilling. Each story, each son, a strong interesting character. Each love affair better than the other. Curt and Elle's story is unique and beautiful.
In general I seem to find these newer, latest stories of Le Veque's softer, lighter, funnier then those written many years ago.
But enjoyable all the same.
The Narration by Nathaniel Black is superb.

I absolutely loved this book…and l fell in love with Curtis! And Elle was absolutely his beautiful, precious soulmate! It was so wonderful to be with Christopher and Dustin again…and the de Lohr family! Thanks Kathryn! And l loved this narrator! He was wonderful too!!! This is definitely a must-read!!!

Extremely exciting employing love of de Lohr’s and attempts to destroy members against wicked insider who was outsider. I highly recommend!

I liked the characters, but there was too much detail about things in the book that did not really matter
