Publisher's summary

What happens in those Christmas movies doesn’t happen in real life...right?

When Blake Sunday, an actor well-known for his super-fluffy roles in made-for-television movies, comes to the small but bustling town of Hidden Springs, Missouri to film a Christmas movie, he knows immediately that it's where he wants to put down roots. His restless, energetic nature gets him sent on a coffee run where he steps inside Knick-Knack Patty-Cakes and meets its adorable owner.

Declan Alexander is chubby and clumsy with wild, curly black hair that can only be tamed with a stocking cap, and has an unnatural obsession with made-for-TV Christmas movies…and Blake Sunday. So, when the gorgeous actor comes waltzing into his bakery, naturally Declan becomes a force of destruction on feet.

Blake is completely smitten by the shy man and does everything he can to get the guy’s attention, but Declan has one excuse or another any time Blake asks him out, and though Blake understands how busy the man is, he's starting to think it might be Declan’s way of turning him down nicely.

A snow globe with an interesting scene laid out inside, a few too many peppermint margaritas, and Declan's secrets-spilling nephew reel Blake back in when he thinks about giving up and give him the courage to go for it again, even after he promised himself he wouldn't.

Although this book is part of A Snow Globe Christmas series, it is a complete stand-alone, and it isn’t a requirement that you listen to the previous books to follow along. We wish everyone a happy holiday season.

Cuteness Overload

I bought this title based on the cover and it really was cute

So in here we have Blake, a sexy as sin actor who is known for Christmas romcoms. He ends up in a small town where he meets Declan, a chubby fanboy who is obsessed with Blake the actor.

The only angst in here is the doubts each one has. Once these dingdongs get past the awkward stage, it's instalove.

My only knock on this was the fact that Declan was not treated well by his family.

The narrator was new to me and even though he had an on the other side of the ocean accent for both mcs, he did a great job

Super sweet!!!

Such a sweet, sweet story- like a hallm@rk movie drizzled in chocolate and sprinkles! The snow globe theme was amazing, as was the happily ever after ending! So cute and sappy. Great story for a Christmas cuddle. So much packed into a short story!

Cute little story

I thought it was a sweet little story that was the perfect company while I worked around my house. I had no problem with the narrators accent and thought it was a nice change from the usual fare B

Good story but iffy accent from narrator

I really enjoyed the overall story, it was fun, romantic and quirky as well as sexy, but the accent the narrator was doing was at many times very iffy as well as grating. The accent wasn't the problem as much as the narrator not having it down completely.

Save your money

I’m sorry but this book felt to me like the author was pressured to throw together a holiday story and just grabbed at anything to get it done. It really was bad. No connection with the two MCs. The narrator was new to me and really needs some work on his acting/reading. Just save your money.
