Publisher's Summary

Instinct and violent visions compel Nameless to embark on an unplanned mission to help a desperate mother and daughter on the run. Why is this rescue so strangely familiar to a man with no memories?

Evie and her daughter, Asteria, are fleeing an abusive cult when they meet a stranger in an abandoned Arizona shopping mall. Fate hasn’t set Nameless on their trail. It’s a premonition, and a chance to make reparations for a failure from his past he can’t even remember. This time, Nameless must do everything in his power not to fail those who trust him with their lives.

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Dean Koontz comes Light Has Weight, but Darkness Does Not, part 4 of Season 2 of Nameless, a gripping collection of stories about a man in search of the truth, the past, and those who owe a debt of blood. Follow him through each story, which can be read or listened to in a single sitting.

So Far My Favorite

I liked the characters in this one. the story was well read by the narrator. the young ladies in this story were smart and intuitive. The bad guys were more run of the mill, not supernaturally evil. Nice change up for Dean..

scarily captivating

this book will have you on the edge of you seat with suspense . I have already listened to the other books in this series and I can't wait to complete it. I really enjoyed this adventure in the nameless chapter. I can't wait till the mystery of his origins are fully revealed.

Enjoyed series

I liked the Nameless series both 1 and 2. I think I actually preferred two. I understood the the Nameless character better in the second series. If you like DK book I think you'll like this one too.

Storyline gets a tad thin.

I have read most everything by Mr. Koontz. I am rarely disappointed by his storyline or overall content. This particular segment of the Nameless series just doesn't feel as fleshed out as the writing usually is. It's as if I shouldn't care much about these characters Nameless has to interact with at this time. Though I am still wanting to know what will happen in the next segment, I am beginning to wonder if the journey will be worth the finale. Guess I'm going to find out!

Nameless

Nameless has a vision of two women, one a mother the other a daughter. He doesn't know where they are and just follows his intuition. Nameless finds them trying to escape the leader of a sect called the Retreat. He frees the women and dispatches the three men trying to take them back to the Retreat.
The narrator is fabulous and can bring the story to life. This series is so good and I would highly recommend it.
