Absolute Dream

This journey is an absolute dream! Not only are the photos stunning, but the description and narrative, provided by the author, transports you to Svalbard. Knowing the odds of me being able to make it that far north are slim, I enjoy this escape into a dream world. Whimsical, calming, and magical is how I describe this beautiful book.

Classic Cecilia Awesomeness

I found Cecilia on YouTube a few months ago and fell in love with her story and life in Svalbard. I loved that she narrated her book herself - she did a fantastic job! I have the signed physical book on its way, but couldn’t resist getting the audio version so I could listen to it while I travel for work. From season to season, adventure to adventure, and from polar bears and walruses to Grimm, the book is VERY interesting and entertaining. Loved!!

Cecilia is a wonderful storyteller

I've been following Cecilia's YouTube and IG channels for many years. I purchased both her book and Audible book because I love both her photography and her voice. Cecilia does a wonderful job bringing the unique quality of her life in the Arctic to her followers and readers, which is quite the opposite to my life in the desert. Thank you, Cecilia.

Such a fun read!

Cecilia did a great job writing and reading the book. Her descriptions of life on Svalbard are very good. I have had the pleasure of visiting Longyearbyen and her writing brings back a flood of memories. This is a good listen for those who would like to visit and also for those who already have.

I’ve loved Cecilia‘s YouTube channel for a few years now. I love this book and her voice is so melodic. I enjoy learning about life in far away places. It inspires me to explore
