It's a good book, but not audiobook

I couldn't get 5 minutes into the audiobook, and that bothers me because I loved reading the book. I can't get over how the narrator sounds like a fake Disney Channel character.
Looking to return this...

A dystopian work of fiction w/a different flair.

Recommended dystopian fiction for the lessons contained within if nothing else. From the stance of "A damsel in distress" makes one root for the lead character.

interesting story

I picked this because my granddaughter was assigned this book in High school. Interesting story, narrarater sounded like a young girl, it will be fun discussing this with my granddaughter.

Good story, but a little too traditional

The story was gripping, depressing, and at times a bit gory. I love the premise. However, I did not love that it was a pretty traditional family... in the sense of gender roles and expectations for women vs men. There was a comment about how "males were more likely to survive than females." Surviving in this situation requires quick thinking and strategy more than anything else. Those aren't gendered concepts. It lacked any kind of diversity in any aspect, so it was hard to connect to, and that turned me off. But overall, it was a good book. The characters were a little 2 dimensional, but I liked seeing how they survived each new situation.

Good book but teen narrator got annoying

This is the story of an terrible event that affects the earth told from the viewpoint of a self involved teen. As an adult it was hard to relate to the whiny main character, but the book was very well narrated and was paced well and an interesting story.

Engaging YA Post-Apocalyptic Story

The main characters POV narration seemed authentic, relatable and compelling enough.

The science of an asteroid knocking the moon out of orbit was sketchy but not a problem.

We enjoyed listening to the book and looking forward to the next books. Tho with expectations of sequel quality.

Could not put this down!

Started this last night and had to finish it today. Can't wait to start the next one!

I enjoyed this book and got through it so fast. I'm glad to find out their is several more books to this story..
