What happens to these great societies and the faiths that supported them when the catastrophes of cosmic, earthly, and man-made disasters kill so many people that we cannot carry those stories forward? Lif and Lifthrasir are not people of our age who happened to hide in a tree. They are our ancestors, sequestered away, prepared to impart the knowledge of the runes and how to live life according to them in a new world. This audiobook outlines what challenges that information has had to overcome to be present in this day and age.
