Audible: Narration adds another layer to this

Throughout this book I listened, I laughed and then tears rolled down my face as she spoke of the death of her brother and Mother. I connected the most with her “awakening” after the election, dealing with loss/grief, and her enthusiasm for cannibis. <—And not in that order. Congratulations on doing the work to become a better human being. I bet I know what Dr. Dan is getting for Christmas!

yep what I needed to hear too

this is the self help book I didn't know I needed!! thank you Chelsea for writing such a open and real book for me to learn from. I am glad it is read by her as well and that she read it with the same emotion that the words had on the pages!! 100% recommend this book!!

Chelsea at her BEST.

Ok ... I’ve loved every book by Chelsea, but this is a standout. If you don’t read / listen to this. I always suggest audible bc you can really feel her words. She’s an excellent orator and this telling will relate to so many people. Her incredible humor is ever-present, which we all love, but the depth of this book hits notes that haven’t been explored by Chelsea until this book.

You HEAR Chelsea, literally and emotionally.

I bought the hardcover book and read most of it, but decided to buy the audiobook too because the idea of hearing her read it was special to me. I’m so glad I did.

You hear Chelsea dig deep, laugh, and sometimes choke back tears through the chapters, and I’m not sure if I’m the only one (i cant be) but it had me choking back tears WITH her.

I relate to so many of her stories and her perspective has been so refreshing and enlightening.

So yes, another glowing review and I absolutely recommend the book. It’s special, and Ive loved it, and I’m sad I’m done with it so fast.

Chelsea does not disappoint

What an incredible book. The book just was released this morning and I couldn't wait to listen! I have been a fan of her books and her for years and this was nothing short of eye opening. She is incredibly candid and the emotional roller coaster it takes you on makes you (or at least me) take a look at some of my ways. Highly recommend!

Not your typical Chelsea Handler

This was such a good listen. I pre-ordered and was not disappointed. It’s not what you expect from Chelsea; it’s so much better. I liked her before, I loved her after listening to her on Armchair Expert Podcast, but I feel like I understand her after this book. Very good read. Felt like therapy. Learned some things about myself as well.

Made me laugh and cry. So relatable, hilarious, touching. I haven’t read Chelsea’s other books but I’ve been a huge fan for years.
