Publisher's summary

Hornitos State Mental Hospital houses the worst of the worst.

Those convicted of violent criminal behavior and judged not guilty by reason of insanity. Mass murderers, serial killers, mad bombers, arsonists, terrorists, and now...James Flynn. Still convinced he's an international super spy, Flynn finds himself in the most dangerous predicament of his life.

He faces off with old enemies, new enemies, and psycho killers who just want to watch the world burn. He also meets a fierce and beautiful woman who might be even more dangerous and delusional than he is.

Together they walk a tightrope between objective reality and clinical insanity and, with the help of Flynn's reluctant sidekick, Sancho, uncover a mad plot to bring on Armageddon.

Better and better

Each book builds upon the last one. Some series have a book that doesn’t quite reach up to the others but not this series. James Flynn will live youentertained and wanting a martini, shaken not stirred.

Another Fantastic Adventure

I can’t wait to see what happens next.
I’m always amazed at the character development and how James is able to bring out the best in people. Looking forward to the next installment.

Another great one

Love the Flynn books. It’s a mix of James Bond and Serge Storms. Everyone has been great

Crazy good.

The James Flynn oeuvre gets crazier and better. Author Orkin has found a bigger challenge and a more dangerous opponent for James Flynn: Our government institutions get infiltrated by Christian nationalists who are trying to take over the country and who don't care what they destroy in the process. How can Flynn take them on when they've buried him deeper inside an insane asylum? With allies old and new, Flynn finds a way with characteristic ingenuity and humor.

Great Performance

I have to applaud the author for his creative genius in developing the characters and story line in the Flynn series. The narration is once again golden, and a stellar performance. All of the books have been a joy. However, the satirical digs at right leaning news media, Christianity and that the villain was portrayed as the product of non-leftist idealism, and Judaeo-Christian values, left me disappointed. Why the anti-hero couldn’t have been a band of Jihadist instead of some wacked out Christians is puzzling. The left always reminds us that the majority who follow Islam are not terrorists and those who are have been misguided. Our hero, with all his worldly knowledge, never suggested to his enemies that the Army of God was not on a true Christian path and far from the beliefs of normal followers of the faith. While saving the day, I would have appreciated James expressing some Christian positivity. Flynn is crazy though, so what would you expect from an agent of Pop Culture.
