Fun listen

After the capture of Earth this book continues as the humans work to overthrow the alien and their helpers. The plot is a bit confusing at times, but the book holds together well. We see the development of several characters as they are put to the test during combat and we see the relationship between characters grow.

The book has the feel of classic science fiction with the main emphasis being the characters and not the space battles etc.

The narration was good. With multiple voices done well for the various characters.

This book was provided free of charge with the expectation of an honest review.

much bettwr than book 1

despite a hard time getting thru the first book, the pace and action of this book2 is much improved, while still a bit predictable, the narration and character development hold the story and listener to the end.
