Such a fun gift for my mom

My mom is always talking about Portugal, so this felt like a fun gift for her. I listened to it too and really enjoyed how it blends real-life stories with clear guidance about what moving there is actually like. It covers the need-to-know details without sounding dry and also speaks to the emotional side of starting over somewhere new. It is a very fun, practical, down to earth window into the experiences involved with an International move, both enjoyable and challenging. I felt that about half of the information is insightful for ANY international move regardless of the country.

I visited Portugal years ago and found the author's description to be very accurate. If you're considering an International move, especially to Portugal this is the first book I'd encourage you select!
