Publisher's Summary

The police say her father's death was suicide. Kelly Warren says it was murder - and she has new evidence to prove it. Detective Cole Taylor doesn't put much credence in her claim, and nothing in his case review suggests foul play. But when he digs deeper and discovers startling information linking her to a long-buried secret, the danger escalates. Is history repeating itself? And who wants Kelly silenced?

Loved the Story

The narration was not very good. The narrator did not do a very good job of making a distinctive tonal change in the voice for each character.

Hooked!

I had never read anything by this author before, but thought the summary sounded good. I was hooked from the first chapter! The plot had enough twists and turns in it to keep me guessing what would happen next. Although the male narrators voice was overall smooth, his dialog of female characters sometime sounded....well downright weird. However, it wasn't enough of a distraction to take away from the story. I would definitely recommend this clean romance/suspense book to anyone. If you like Dee Henderson, you need to try Irene Hannon!

Guardians of justice series awesome

I've been reading and listening to Irene Hannon books for awhile. I really enjoyed this series and recommend to all who love suspense, great characters, highlight our hero's ... Police men and women, our Military personnel etc. who try to keep us safe. All three books flow well and kept my interest. I didn't have any issues with the narrator. My only negative is the series
Is over. I really appreciate reading Christian literature because of no vulgar language and no over the top sexual scenes.

Lethal Legacy

The female voice for this particular book was awful! The characters were young, but the narrators’ performance (when I closed my eyes to use my imagination) sounded much older.

Very good narration and suspense

This book has a warm cast of characters and very entertaining suspense along with a slowly developing romance. It is a bit long for me but a very enjoyable book and very good narration.
