loved the story

this was a great one and I am happy how Andrew's story was handled. I am excited for the next chapter. wish in the audio book her sound was not so whispy as it made her week and like an airhead, which was not how I felt her character was.

Beautiful can not start to describe this book. All emotions packed here: love, loyalty, regret, passion, doubt...
an old mistery to be solved, a veteran with personal demons, a sweet innocent girl involved...

None of us that haven't experienced modern day war, could truly understand what the soldiers, deployed overseas really go through. How they depend on each other, as their very lives are at stake.
It would be hard to know that those brothers in arms, for some senseless trinket lost their lives. It would be enough to send a sane man over the edge.
Luckily, this isn't a story of suicide, but more a story of finding a purpose to life.
As usual, behind one man's salvation, stands a fierce and determined woman.
This is another example of Ms Cardello's ability to create a family we can all want to be a part off.

Terrific story with Excellent narration

New author to me, quite a pleasant discovery.

Detailed plot, great world building and characters.
Definitely going to look for more in this series as more from this author.

Entertaining, with good mix of emotion, intrigue and romance.

Would you listen to Let It Burn again? Why?

Probably not. I absolutely did not like the narrator. She was inconsistent with her male voices, the females sounded like teenagers and I almost stopped listening very early in the book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Let It Burn?

The scene where Andrew's family got very real with their feelings and their relationships over the years and the causes. It was very moving when Andrew finally felt like he was a part of his family.

What three words best describe Robin Rowan’s voice?

Not very good.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I cried when at the emotional scenes between Andrew and his family and also when Andrew told Helene how he felt about her after he had finally taken care of the things that had him so unable to feel like life mattered.

Despite disliking this narrator, I love Ruth's story of healing and a second chance to be a part of family and finding a love who understood Andrew. Let It Burn is one of the best in the Barrington Series!
