Real, Practical Dating Advice for Women

Are you the pursuer or do you let men pursue you? The answer is the difference between you becoming a side toy for a man to play around with or a girlfriend with a title and eventually a woman who any man would be eager to call his wife.

Many of us modern women have been taught that in order to get a guy we have to go out there and snag him, trick him, tag him, and drag him home. But that doesn't work - at least not in the long run.

Men are natural-born hunters. It's in their DNA. They won't always admit it, but they absolutely love the chase. They want a woman who has the traits described in this audiobook. They want to be given the opportunity to earn a woman's love.

Let him chase you!

You get all sorts of advice about dating, from act like a lady think like a man, understanding the power of the pussy, knowing the five love languages for men, the art of seduction, and the irresistible qualities men want in a woman. But above all, there's one bit of relationship and dating advice for women that you should always keep in mind no matter what - don't chase love or men.

When you have full confidence in yourself, you'll never chase men again. Instead, you'll radiate that confidence and beauty everywhere you go. They'll be drawn to you. You'll know how to manage men when dating, and how to weed out the ones who are not right for you. Stop apologizing for wanting both love and respect in a relationship.

This simple, easy-to-follow audiobook explains how you can shake off meaningless flings with men and start to attract men who are serious about you.

You are deserving of real, respectful love in your relationships. Don't allow anyone to convince you otherwise!

It’s not for me.

I’m not a chronically single woman and I wouldn’t date a bay daddy .. I just know that’s a no go and I enjoy fwb and actually freely leave them often. I’m tired of the narrative that women are sad and always get the short end. I need a book for a woman like me. I felt like I was then man in half of these stories and if fact have been told by my ex that I act like a man sometimes . I want a book that will teach me but not make me out to be some cry baby who can’t get or keep a man. I want a book that gives regular women lessons and doesn’t act like women in the 21st century are crying over getting ghosted. Hell we are doing the ghosting. Teach me how to find someone so I don’t have to block them after 2 weeks of sex because they are annoying me. Where are the books for girls like me .

You're the prize

Where does Let Him Chase You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is the first audio book I've listened to and it was pretty good. The author narrated it and she sounds 'real' like she's speaking to you. She tells you things you should know, but you need to hear... for example Being confident, not giving in, knowing your standards, and where you stand. She tells you what men look for in women, doesn't sugar coat the fact that guys go after looks first. Gives personal stories that you can relate to, not boring. She is straight forward, no time wasted or off topic. I recommend this audio

A Clear Guide with a Powerful Message

The author has a brilliant message for young women: "When you truly believe in yourself and the power of your womanhood everyone else starts to believe it too." She did a lovely job of reinforcing this message throughout the book.

The author covers exactly what women are doing wrong in their relationships and how to fix these problems. I especially liked that she used three specific examples from her own dating life to clearly illustrate her points by first detailing the relationships and then explaining step by step exactly where the trouble points were.

I also really enjoyed the author's love letter to the most important person in her life at the end. I won't give anything away but it was very moving and I think everyone should write such a letter.

The author's no-nonsense yet friendly and compassionate attitude made you feel like you were chatting with a very wise friend.

The book was read by the author who did a very nice job. Since she clearly knew the material well she presented it exactly as she'd intended it which made it more powerful.

I definitely recommend this to those who are looking for a clear, concise guide to creating the relationship you desire.

Misleading title

Would you try another book from L. Lynn Gilliard and/or L. Lynn Gilliard?

No, the author seems angry and bitter about men.

What could L. Lynn Gilliard have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Not come across as an angry, man-hater and show more appreciation for men and their good characteristics. I don't agree with the message that a man should not be praised for performing his basic responsibilities. We all need recognition and appreciation even for the things we're supposed to do. Feeling appreciated is a basic human need. We are turned off by those who don't recognize our efforts even if they are basic. You can't expect more without appreciating what you already have. The author needs to evaluate her true feelings about men and whether she has the right mindset to bring out the best in them.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of L. Lynn Gilliard?

someone without an accent

Any additional comments?

This book didn't teach any new methods for letting him chase you but rather focused on the negatives of men.

Very helpful information for a lot of women

How did the narrator detract from the book?

No disrespect to the author, who has written a book which I'm sure can be helpful to a lot of women, but she has a very heavy regional accent (Brooklyn?) and the presentation…Well, think of a middle-schooler reading her book report. Also, there was piano music playing in the background. I think this audiobook could have been much better if a professional narrator/reader had been hired.

Any additional comments?

The author straightforwardly identifies many dating and relationship pitfalls that modern women encounter. But many of them I couldn't relate to, such as: dating men who have "baby mama drama" with the mothers of their illegitimate children, or guys who can't get a "regular" job at a company due to their criminal record! But if these problems apply to your particular dating pool, then this book would be helpful.

Ok Read

This book is simple and basic on what types of mistakes women make in the world of dating. I feel these things are common sense, but it's good to have your memory refreshed once in a while. I like the author's laid back style in reading, but at the same time, I didn't think it was as professional as other books on this topic.

The letter Lynn wrote to herself at the end of the book was beautiful!

I learned SO MUCH about myself listening to this book! How I was causing the pain I experienced in bad relationships.... We create the rules of how we will be treated, no one else... This book touched a few nerves deep in my soul and it forced me to re-evaluate the value I had always put on myself and others! How very educational for those who truly want to change themselves and final find peace and happiness inside ourselves! I have no doubt that I will find a great man !

Not what I expected

I thought it was going to give me tricks to get a men but it's more. It made me see what I've been doing wrong and how to except what I'm feeling. This book made me realize that to get the man that was met for me I have to be me. Not some fake person.

Enjoyed the book a lot... BUT....

Great tips! Performance was good, but.... The background music was quite irritating and depressing. If it wasn't for the music, it would be 100% great book!
Still highly recommend!

Lots of Top Tips

My blinkers have been opened.
It's lovely to finally shed light on all the negative feelings I've internalised over the years.
L.Lynn describes patterns of behaviour simply and non judgementally and has made me realise that it's not that there is something wrong with me, just the choices I have made in the past.
I would have LOVED this book starting out as a teenager as a go to guru. But even as an adult in a long term relationship it have given me the confidence to say what I truly want.
I'm worth it!!!
I shall be buying this book for my partner's daughters, with love from me and relief of knowing they need never enter their forties lacking knowledge and the confidence it brings.
Thank you L.Lynn

Most enlightening book I have ever read!

Thank you Lynn for opening my eyes and my heart to all the reasons why I haven’t found my lifetime partner. I have made so many mistakes in my dating life without realising my behaviour and the consequences of my actions. I didn’t see myself as the prize or value my worth. It is a bitter pill to swallow but I can wholeheartedly say that this book has and will change my life personally and romantically moving forward. I have a lot of hope and clarity now that I will finally find my gem amongst the rocks. Thank you!

Shallow & short

Most of what she writes is subjective with no basis. She has huge biases and they come through strongly. Don’t waste your time on this!
