Precious Truths

This is the 2nd time reading this book and I hope to read it again. What deep insight Dr. Ferguson is able to relay in the writing of this passage that very well may be the most precious and meaningful words spoken or written as we share in the deep loving example of Jesus as He ministers to and speaks to His disciples in this upper room before He head to the climax of His earthly life . And assures these men that He pleads for them . Amazing love .

I relisten to this book often and a sweet companion to a deep dive in the book of John.

Eternal truths from the Upper Room

Understanding Christ, His ministry, and His glory are all advanced with a listen to Sinclair Ferguson's book and I, personally require more than one or two listens.

Good book, and a worthy read.

The familiar events of Christ’s final Passover meal and following teachings to His disciples is reviewed with a slightly different perspective. Ferguson tells the events from a pastoral view point, which I found to be valuable. It’s not a perfect book (I found an issue or two), but it is well worth the listening time, and the reader did an excellent job.
