Story
Though I was born with the ability to see the dead, I struggled with it until my brother was killed and his ghost was left behind. Now, I’m determined to figure out who is responsible for his death…the problem is that Detective Maddox Booker, the one working the case, is a grumpy and stubborn man who wants nothing to do with me and definitely doesn’t believe in ghosts. It doesn’t help that I keep finding myself looking ridiculous in front of the detective, thanks to interfering ghosts who enjoy laughing at my expense.

It was supposed to be a prank. A silly frat boy dare. One hot moment in a hidden storage closet. One kiss. No consequences. But if you get that close to a man with fire in his eyes, you’re gonna get burned, and I was no exception. One taste of Grey Blackwood ruined me for life. The way Grey sees it, I was the one who did the ruining. I humiliated him. Wrecked his life. Destroyed his future.

Story
Five years ago, I walked away from Sunbury, Oregon, and left my best friend behind. The move was supposed to get my life on track. I even had a list: Life changing epilepsy surgery. Check. See the world. Check. Get over my straight best friend... Not exactly. No matter where I go or who I meet, I can't let Tanner go. I'm back to tell him how I feel. To get the closure I need once and for all. Only now I'm here and falling for him all over again, it's getting harder to say the words. Because once I have my closure, I'll be gone. And this time it will be for good.

Wells: The first thing I notice about Conor Newell when he sits down in my high-rise conference room is how delightfully nervous he is. Then I see his tie. Oz Gallagher does not do relationships well. Bored and jobless after another disastrous hook up, he decides to leave London for a temporary job in the wilds of Cornwall. Surely managing a stately home on a country estate will be easier than navigating the detritus of his relationships at home. Six months there will alleviate a bit of his wanderlust and then he can come back to London as footloose and fancy free as the day he left it. However, when he gets there, he finds a house in danger of crumbling to the ground and a man who is completely unlike anyone he’s ever met.

The first time I met Hudson Rothschild was at a wedding. I’d received an unexpected invitation to one of the swankiest venues in the city. Hudson was a groomsman and quite possibly the most gorgeous man I’d ever laid eyes on. He asked me to dance, and our chemistry was off the charts. I knew it wasn’t a good idea to get involved with him, considering the wedding I was at. But our connection was intense, and I was having a great time. Though the fun came to a screeching halt when Hudson figured out I wasn’t who I’d said I was.

I knew something was wrong the second she walked in the door tonight; I just couldn't put my finger on what it was. Same hair color. Same legs. Same face. Except...I look harder. At the small dimple beneath her lip that wasn't there the last time we went out. And her laugh - that laugh isn't as loud. This isn't the girl I've gone out with the past few weeks. It's her twin sister, and they've switched places on me.

Publisher's Summary
A new person will enter your life in the early year, Leo. Look past any moments of frustration they might bring and laugh - this could be the start of a thriving friendship.
Theo Wallace usually laughs at the horoscopes his mom sends. Still hung up on his ex-girlfriend and practically friendless, this one begs him to reconsider. Because a friendship that stuck, that thrived...well, that would be a reason to leave past pains behind and look to the bright future.
When his sister Leone challenges him to find her the perfect date for a spring wedding, Theo uses it as a chance to make new friends. Theo's ex-economics tutor and newest roommate, Mr. Jamie Cooper, seems to be a possible and convenient match. Real convenient. Like written in the stars, convenient. All he has to do is make sure this Jamie is good enough. Could really be "The One" for her and the friend for him. But watch out, Leo, the stars have a surprise in store....
Contains mature themes.

Amazing story with a sub-par narration.
I've learned a couple things since buying and listening to the audio...
1. I'm still just as in love with the story as I was the first 4 times I've read it.
2. Sub-par narration didn't take the enjoyment out of the story for me. Let's talk about the narration by Rudy Sanda. His voice for Theo was the most "enjoyable" of the voices used. The one for Jamie grated on my ears and didn't match *his* voice AT. ALL. Just because Jamie is responsible doesn't mean he should sound like frustrated 80 year old man. The voices for all the secondary characters were also not on par and even worse than Jamie's (ok, maybe not worse but tied for the worst). Still, I'm a fan of the story and that is the ONLY reason I stuck out the audio.

Great book with poor narration
I loved the story of the oblivious Lei and his amazing Aries. This friend's to lovers worked so well for me. I am so disappointed at the narration. Theo and Leone sound fine. Every other character, including the lovely Jamie, sound nasal, old, oddly cadence, ridiculous, etc.

Love but
I love this series and was so excited to see it coming to audible that I ignored my other ongoing books to listen to one crazy Leo. It is fun and funny book; the romance is slow but so damn adorable.
That being said, I'm not sure I can finish it in audiobook format; the narration is just not right. Mr Sanda's narration doesn't not fit the characters or the pace. It will be hard to finish but maybe it will grow on me, I have to see.... I've never reviewed a book half an hour in. I'll have to get back to this

I think it's the gosh awful narration that's put me off this book. his high pitched nasal voice and amateurish presentation made it impossible for me to listen to more than 30 minutes before I had to shut it down. I'm hoping the ebook is better because it sounds like it might be a cute story.

The narrator is just awful
I was fooled by the sample provided before purchasing this audiobook . I typically enjoys books by Anyta but this one is just full of nonsense. I'm all for getting to know a character and their idiosyncrasies and I don't need constant angst and drama but there is no PLOT.. it's just chapter after chapter of Theo bumbling around , way too much about grocery shopping.
I do wonder if I would have a different opinion if I haven't suffered through the awful narration. Mr. Sanda's 'voices' for the side characters are laughable. The mother sounds like a "text to voice" roboreader and he makes Shawn/Sean ( who is in his 20's) sound like a ancient rabbi chewing on ice . When you finallllly get to something between the two MC's the narrator doesn't change pace , tone or inflection.
I wish I didn't have a "don't return books" policy because I totally wasted a credit .

Nails on a chalkboard
This was a new to me author and “”narrator “”.
I really wanted to like this book but it just didn’t give me any kind of satisfaction. The the difference between a Narrator and a book reader can make a big difference. Very dull. Very slow book. Not a great story line.

Amazing story, okay narration
I *adore* this story. It's perfect for those times you don't need world ending, heart destroying drama- just an injection of pure sunshine and fluffy warmth as these two dorks figure out their feelings. And props to Anyta Sunday for portraying the healthy aspects of these sun signs as primary traits of her characters. I was especially excited about Jaime, who is an Aries like myself and is an amazing example of one. The narration though... yeah I'm with the other reviewers who think Jaime's voice was too deep and exaggerated. Some of the others bugged me too but that was definitely the one that grated most and didn't come off as hot-guy-in-his-20s at all.

Great story, disappointing narration.
The story itself is excellent! A lot of good banter that had me laughing out loud and the chemistry between the characters is scorching but unfortunately the narration put me off. Definitely recommend the story but perhaps choose to read it instead of listening to the audiobook version.

Poor narration
The story was a nice slow burn with lovable characters. I'm going to buy part 2 for sure. But the narrator was horrible. Every sentence read in the same serious tone and you could hear he had to strain himself for Jamie's voice.

Loved the story, shame about the narrator....
Eek, dreadful. Had to dnf after 25%, and was so looking forward to the audio. This story was one of my absolute faves of 2016, but the narrator made Jamie sound as though he had a stick up his backside, so excruciatingly pompous and Theo was just wooden. No hint of the devilry and laughter the story seemed to suggest for him [and I have read the story 3 times], so disappointing. Unfortunately Mr Sanda was the wrong choice for this story, he's too monotonous, and I won't be listening to anything else he narrates. 😕
