Publisher's Summary

Jason Burke is a broken man. The loss of his friend and crewmate on an ill-fated mission to a Pillar World has left him in a downward spiral of rage and self-destruction. But what if Lucky hadn’t actually died on that planet?

While Omega Force tries to pull itself together for the sake of their friend, they also learn that a ruthless new faction has seized control of the ConFed Council and now threatens the stability of the entire quadrant. To make matters worse, the rise of this new regime might be their fault.

Jason’s loyalties are pulled in all directions as he tries to not only help his friend but also correct a horrible mistake from his past. Will his refusal to sacrifice either mission cause him to fail at both?

Legends Never Die is audiobook ten in the best-selling Omega Force series.

It's About time!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series, and the author took too long providing us with this latest installment of "Omega Force." The series has chronicled the (mis)adventures of 6 souls (5 organic and one synth) who found each other when they were about to be sold into slavery or murdered. Having saved each other, they formed a strong bond and have used their talents in an attempt to help others. I have been a fan of Sci-fi for a very long time, and I cannot name another story, or stories, where the author has provided 6 individuals of 6 different species from different planets, all of which have been given six different histories and therefore completely different personalities, and has knit them into an interesting group who fight against evildoers, while bickering like only family members can. They sometimes make me laugh out loud (to the dismay of my wife who usually is trying to sleep while I listen with headphones late at night). If other readers know of another series even close to this one, please let me know. If you are new to this series, I strongly suggest that you start at book #1, "Omega Rising." This book centers around finding and restoring Lucky to the living, and dealing with a threat from their common past. This book does not resolve this threat, and if you find that you hate cliff hangers, well, wait for #11 before finishing #10. Note to Mr Dalzelle, please hurry up with the next book!!

It’s only a filler episode for the next one

Was disappointed to get to the end and realize that the entire book is a short filler to prepare for the next one :(

Omega Force Rebooted

This has been a really fun series with very good character development, great tech and a lot of laughs. Just about the time I thought the author would retire it after what 9 or 10 books it appears to have rebooted into epic scale.
I really hope Dalzelle continues this series...

Surprise surprise surprise...

Should have called this book...SURPRISES!! What an amazing read! Dalzelle takes us on a emotional adventure roller coaster. The only part I disliked was the “Audible hopes you have enjoyed this program” prompt. Need more OF!!!

Lucky Comes Back from the Dead ?

Great book, very entertaining. The Ancients evil AI called the "Machine" comes in with a power play. I love how Jason's "ridiculous" rail gun can practically shoot down buildings.

Chapter 8: hilarious LOL exchange "... Unicorn farts ..."

Chapter 9: his ass was clenched so tight it could have started a fusion reaction with a bit of "deterium"

Chapter 16: LOL: the big warrior Crusher pointed at his own eyes and then at Jason in a familiar gesture while he ate yet again. they'd all been together so long that all the little idioms and gestures from 6 different species had combined into something uniquely Omega Force but for some reason Crusher and Cage preferred to mimic corny shit they'd seen in earth movies. it had taken Jason 6 months to explain that Dirty Harry was not actually a real person... Make his day.

Ass clowns.

I find it highly implausible that Jason has been carrying around the combined knowledge of an ancient extinct super species in his head for years and he has yet to personally capitalize on it, other than giving humans a heads up on building war space ships.

LOL chapter 22: the element of surprise can be a fickle mistress Crusher says sagely. Just think if you hadn't killed all of these mercs, they could of helped us out.
