Publisher's summary

Hold the line.

After narrowly defeating the invading enemy fleet, there is evidence that the attack isn't over.

Thousands have died, and all that stands between human extinction and the invaders are the remnants of the colonial military.

Connor must find a way to rally the colony using every scrap of ingenuity to stop the invaders. But will he succeed when he finds himself pitted against mankind's ultimate enemy? This could be mankind's final hour...or its greatest victory.

A trilogy that is worth your while

a trilogy that flows and finishes. Often times I get into a series that seems to drag on after awhile. Many time the Author seems to write nothing but filler for several books with battle scenes that become redundant over time. This doesn't do that. Every thing that happens, seems to happen for a reason and what plot holes there are, are limited and acceptable considering the scope of the story. I cared about the characters and their outcome, several favorites were killed off. I like this because conflict isn't without consequence. Kiliing off a few favored characters gives scope to the arc of the story, which to me makes it worth it in the end. Thank you Mr. Lozito

Great Seried.

I am glad that this ends like it does and not hanging there. Great characters and plot turns with lots of action. The narrator is great and paces well. I recommend these three book very highly. You will enjoy them all very much.

Simply Outstanding

While I failed to comment on Genesis, after listening to Ken Lozito’s unexpected personal remarks at the conclusion of Book-7, I decided to go back to the earliest book of the "First Colony Series," still in my possession, to input this brief analysis. Indeed, I lack the suitable words to convey the extent of my enormous appreciation for each single work of this anthology, for, ever since I finished listening to Genesis, I could not wait to start enjoying the next one. Lastly, I would like to vigorously applaud the author of this magnificent series, and to thank him for having composed them for his devoted audience.

Good story

Good story but a lame ending. He wrapped up all of the Loose Ends but then concluded with a feminist satisfying abusive woman, turning Connor into a beta male simp.

Great conclusion to a fun series

Overall I was happy with this book, the performance was solid, the story was fun and a good follow up to the previous ones. There could have been more explaining of the Vemus, but the answers we got were satisfactory.
