    Two dogs, an icy pond, and a lack of clues.


    On February 15th of 2001, 12-year-old Steven Kraft II left his home on Holly Drive in his Benton Heights neighborhood. He was headed over to a friend’s house.


    When Steven didn’t return, an all-out search was launched. There were few clues as to where the 12-year-old could have gone.


    All that was left were some footprints in the snow.

    A shooting at the drive-through, a fender bender, and the floor of a shed. On February 20th, 2021, 32-year-old Pamela Cabriales was on her way home after a night out with a friend. After a minor fender bender at Colfax Avenue and I-25, a male exited the passenger side of the vehicle and shot into Pamela’s car, killing her. Police later apprehended 14-year-old Remi Cordova, 18-year-old Neshan Johnson, and another unnamed juvenile.     A 911 hang up, knives, and a locked bedroom door.


    In the early morning hours of March 12th, 2024, police were dispatched to a home in Lawtey, Florida after a 911 hang up call.


    When officers arrived, they found 46-year-old Johnnie Brown outside with a laceration to his arm.


    As officers spoke to Brown, an 11-year-old girl ran outside and told police that her grandmother and two of her aunts were dead.


    Officers found 49-year-old Qanique Robinson, 27-year-old Danesha Sims, and 25–year-old Wynshay Roddey deceased in a bedroom.


    Brown would claim that he had shot the three women in self-defense — but is that what really happened?
