Great book for Learn Japanese

I live and work in Japan but even in this complete immersive environment I use all the learning aids I can get. This audiobook is a great Vocabulary Edition aid in speeding up learning Japanese but that all it is, a suplement. If learning is what you want this will help but if used with a book, a Japanese instructor, and/or Japanese speaking friends. You can learn any language with any of those but if you want to learn quickly so I use them all. My only problem with this audiobook is that I don't agree with some of the English/Japanese matching. It is an interpreted translation and this does well enough.

Very nice and functional

I have finished "Learn Japanese for Beginners Easily & in Your Car! " by self study with this book and this is course is good because I now practice without a book. I do use a dictionary to get the spelling correct and therefore the pronunciation.
I am not sure how I would rate this for a beginner, maybe it is good to learn to speak before learning to write, just like a child!

Great podcast to help you study Japanese

This includes the absolute beginner and other lower beginner levels one and two. This is the first volume to cover informal Japanese. I really feel like I learned a lot. I hope the following series are just as good.Great podcast with real-life and funny story. It is worth the price and it was never boring

Good for improving

Since I lived in Japan for a few years, I needed something to listen to while commuting to work (here in the USA) to help maintain my level of language proficiency. I wish I had had this to listen to while I was learning Japanese several years ago. If you listen to this series a few dozen times until you've pretty much memorized all the words and combinations, you'll have a good foundation in the language.this is a continuation one and two, I'd definitely recommend this for starters.

Takes the pain out of learning a language.

The book does a great job of building up Vocabulary . Sometimes the instructor has you use logic to come up with a phrase of which you may know the pieces to but you have to put it together, which i tests your understanding of Japanese word order.

practical, short, effective

The new update of this book is way better than what used to be here. The words are actually the top 100 words, and each one is given with a phrase, and very practical sample sentences.

For an absolute beginner, it may be overwhelming.

For an absolute beginner, it may be overwhelming.I like audiobooks or podcasts like these, because I can hear the language being spoken naturally. For this specific lesson, like I said, I think it works best if you already know basic vocab and Words & Phrases! , it's very good!

I find this much more helpful

It's really great for review, and for me, it helps cement the basic Vocabulary Edition! structure of the language without the dry and tedious grammar lessons that are typical of academia-based courses. Academia is great if you are majoring in the language from an expert linguist or university-level perspective, but for someone who just wants to start speaking naturally as quickly as possible,

The vocabulary is useful

The vocabulary is useful and well taught using multiple examples :) The repetition is is a little too much though! A great set of lessons for visiting and getting around Japan. The instructor is easy to understand, knowledgeable, I especially enjoyed how the sentences were broken down into their literal components, so you can understand Japanese sentence structure.

Clear, logical, useful.

It's good supplemental material for grammar and vocabulary. I recommend learning Japanese to help better understand what the speakers are saying if that's anything anyone struggles with. excellent for anyone willing to put in the work. Gets you on your way to speaking with fluency, confidence, understanding and a good accent.

It works,

I appreciate how thorough these are with Japanese Words & Verbs!, and usage. I actually remember stuff I learn from this course. I feel the satisfaction of being able to speak. Although I might not be able to speak it all. I know a lot of Vocabulary. That makes me feel good.

successfully learning Japanese and starting to think in sentences and form them on my own. I learn in the few minutes it takes me to drive to and from work each day.
