beautiful language

my next trip from church will be to ethiopia. I have been learning a lot about this country and of course it’s language amharic. as a bilingual person it has been challenging for to learn another language because I think i’m spanish and speak in english. So to learn this language would have to be the same. I appreciate the author including a pdf with the words in it. makes it very easy to follow. The narrator does a good job pronunciating the words.

interesting audiobook

From the moment I pressed play, I was captivated by the audiobook's carefully structured approach. Each word was presented with meticulous attention to detail, emphasizing pronunciation in a way that resonated with the native speakers. What truly sets this audiobook apart is its focus on long-term retention. Through structured repetition and prompts in both English and Amharic, the audiobook transformed short-term memorization into lasting recall. The audiobook made the learning experience both educational and entertaining. It felt like embarking on a linguistic adventure, guided by expert narration and a well-paced curriculum.

Lovely language

This is a neatly organized book. I learned numbers, body parts, animals, colors, and emotions. I love the sounds of Amharic. This will be a language that needs much practice and I’ll be listening many more times.

vocabulary

this book is a great resource for basic words in the Amharic language. While this won't teach you how to speak to anybody conversationally you can start learning things such as numbers, what to call family members, animals, and a whole list of other basic words. chalk full of vocabulary for you to learn before your trip to Ethiopia. If you need to learn to speak to somebody this isn't your book, it's more a supplement for vocabulary in the early to middle stage of language learning.

Great Book.

If you're interested in learning Amharic, this is a great place to start. The audiobook is well-organized; the language is introduced gradually and then expanded upon, and the explanations are straightforward and easy to understand. Vocabulary lessons help students hone their abilities with a steady increase in challenge. The courses are structured in a manner that makes it simple to follow along, and the terminology is given in a way that is memorable. This book has been quite useful to me as a novice student of Amharic. Anyone serious about learning or improving their Amharic vocabulary should listen to it.
