Great series!! Excellent narration!

The final book diiiiid feel a little rushed but still 100% worth getting. Definitely one of the staple “most recommended” series in Haremlit. Thanks for a great story Burke!

Love it - Crossover series potential ????

I still have a few David Burke series left. This one was 8 books and it flew by. Had hoped it would keep going. WISH LIST - Descend, Four Laws and maybe even War God For Hire could all combine forces for a crazy universal battle! Would love to hear all my favorite characters again and see how they would interact with each other.

I must admit obviously this being the last book the ending felt a little rushed as to how Rob went from being the sheriff of one town to three towns destroyer of zombie hordes assisting with killing a dragon a god and then becoming the replacement god of the world.
the voice acting of the female characters in this book seems to blend a little too much together. their voices didn't sound as separated as they have in previous chapters however the duo of the to voice actors is still a solid combination that I wish other stories that I've listened to would take hold of and utilize.

We need 10 more books!

This is one of my favorite series.
I just want it to keep on going for a million books like Nancy Drew.
Now that the sheriff has reached his current level and new responsibilities, what's going to happen to him, his harem family, his city and his new world?
I can't wait for the next book.
I give this boom 9 out of 5 stars.

IMO: One of the best Fantasy Gaming Stories

This has great plot for the story not really knowing which direction the author would take you the constant training to grow and get stronger, better each day then you were the day before . The diversity Rob had to go through to improve his life and his families life. And all of the propositions he received along the way.

great series even better voice actors

this is one of the best series I've read for a very long time the action is great the progression is smooth and the spicy bits are very spicy without being absurd plus the two voice actors gave their absolute all to make this a memorable experience

excellent series and consistency

this is one of the few series that stayed true to the first AB and followed a logical path and didn't try to "jump the shark" as it were. excellent characters, plots and sub plots. we'll thought out and organized. thevoice actors of course were fantastic. a lot of sex and very little fad to black. light on the harem but the mens fantasy part rounded it out just enough. I would Sat that this would be a 60/40 split in favor of harem to RPGlit so not too much numbers but sorted so you could skip ahead if the mod arises. I did purchase all AB separately and would highly recommend this series.

Great End to Great Series

Fun series with a great End. Anyone who had made it this far, won't be disappointed by the end.

Fantastic Series

As someone still early on in his Lit RPG genre adventure, I have to say I have enjoyed David's work the most thus far. This is the first series I have read of his, but I have read series from other authors and the voice work he has done for his series is top notch. Since finishing this series, I have moved on to Prism Academy and I am also enjoying the first book so far so I would recommend him as an author.

That being said, from what I am seeing from other reviews, this is apparently the final book in the Laws series altogether. If that's the case, then I can't help but feel that there was a bit too much left on the table with "Law of Consequences" so I hope it is not the final book. If this is the end, then I will say I enjoyed the journey but I think that it having the shortest runtime of the series didn't do it any favors in wrapping up the entirety of the plot.

could have been better

I really like this author. Some of his series are better than others. I love the progression, the setting, and the plot is pretty good. The story telling is mostly smooth, though there are some conceptual contradictions. This last book was a bit of work to get through. There is way too much time spent on babies and getting pregnant. The series was fun when it was about the adventure, the flirting, the relationships and the progression. By the end it was about a family man and how much he wanted to be more of a family man. That might be fine for some books, but it dramatically reduces the sexy part of harem lit.
