The REAL Iron Man

I'm going to have to come back and edit this. However, I loved the behind the scenes of "Ordinary Man" and "Patient Number 9." How they connected to Ozzy and the ways he felt at that time or times, I do wish he went on a bit more for other tracks.

With the amount of surgeries he underwent, and more so before his time was reached. He literally became the definition of Iron Man. Because of all the rods and some cement in him. He was definitely indestructible as Sharron mentioned. Because he should have met his end a long time ago for sure. His guardian angels still believed in him and his future.

He literally held on for us for "Back to the Beginning" for one last performance. And its still ashame we can't get whatever music he was inspired by to produce for what would have been his last send off.

Thank you Ozzy for your music. You definitely changed the world.

Moving🎶 Riveting 🎶& Sad😭Magical

Ozzy ..his detailing of his illnesses will leave you shocked... that he actually was able to make it to the stage this July what this man went through the last 6 years of his life is incredible this book is... it just is a phenomenal thing.. yep he knew he was on his way out. that last chapter had me bawling.

What a WONDERFUL memoir of a beautiful Man. The stories Ozzy tells were like taking a time machine into the past. Being able to see all the perspectives through Ozzy’s eyes. From the touching early days in Birmingham to the retrospective last days after his final show. God Bless you King Ozzy. We LOVE you, and ALWAYS will LOVE you Brother….

what an incredible life

I love, love, loved this book. I laughed and I cried. His last footnote on his life and the legacy he left behind. I was touched because he took time to thank the world and people for being a part of his life and left no doubt of his love. truly touching considering the timing of finishing this book and his passing. He left no stone unturned. God bless you Ozzy. I am sorry the last few years of his life were so filled with pain, but what a way to go! Love and prayers to his family. So much love you were truly blessed.

Funny, essential for any Ozzy fan, and a good book too

I couldn’t stop listening to this. It was beautifully told and there were so many unbelievably funny stories. But it also made me weep. Ozzy also makes a good case for universal healthcare. I had no idea what he went through in his last years. Not many people did beyond his family and support system. I’m grateful that he was able to do that last show and tell his story.
